Description of the Campton vacation home rental

Great house in a great location. Access to multi million dollar recreational center of Waterville Estates. We have seasonal mountain views. Three level contemporary home with multiple decks. Top floor is the living level with livingroom, dining, kitchen and half bath. Mid level has a master suite with queen bed and adjoining room with daybed This room works great for parents with small children or can be closed off and used as a separate room. Another bedroom has twin beds. Unique full bath in three separate rooms. Bottom level has family room, one bedroom with a queen, three quarter bath and laundry room. Just steps outside to a private 6 person hot tub with waterfall feature. House is fully equipped, large screen tv, movie library, high speed internet and xbox.

Area Information

Walk a short 1/4 mile to the multi million dollar recreational center. Facility has 2 indoor pools, one outdoor, large hot tub overlooking the pond and mountains. Exercise room, game room, library, and lounge. Pond with sandy beach, swim float, paddle boats. Fishing pond that is stocked with trout. Hiking, biking, cross country trails. We are in the White Mountains and 7 miles from the town square of Waterville Valley. Ski Waterville Valley, Loon or Cannon. Horseback riding, sleigh/hayrides close by.

Very clean and comfortable accommodations

We were 5 adults and 2 children (ages 7 and 5). We chose to stay in the queen bedroom on the lower level since the mid-level queen room also had a connecting room with a daybed and trundle which was ideal so the kids could be close to their parents. The only issue I had was climbing 29 steps to get to the kitchen on the upper level. The house was comfortably furnished with plenty of seating for all of us and was very clean and inviting. The cookware more than adequate for whipping up full meals for 7 people and there was plenty of flatware. The recreation center was within walking distance but we preferred to make the short drive instead. The outdoor pool area was comfortable; both sunny and shady areas were available with plenty of seating. The indoor heated pool was also a lot of fun. We went to the pond one day but were not impressed with either the upkeep of the area or the condition of the paddle boats so we spent most of the time poolside. At night, from the deck, we were treated to an amazing view of thousands of stars and even the Milky Way! We had a wonderful time!

Our two families fit comfortably in this extremely clean, spacious home. Our families had children ranging in age from 5-14 and all throughly enjoyed the weekend. We took advantage of the outdoor skating pond and the two pools at the rec center. Having multiple floors allowed the kids to watch their movies and play video games while parents could enjoy a quiet evening to themselves.

When we go back to Waterville, this is where we hope to stay again!
