Description of the Cannes vacation villa rental
Elegantly decorated and furnished, luxury Provençal villa sleeps six in three separate bedrooms, white marble floors. Internal garden with dining terrace. Ground Floor: entrance hall, sitting room, dining room, study, kitchen, guest toilet, garden. First Floor: master bedroom, balcony, ensuite bathroom, dressing room plus two further bedrooms with two single beds in each, bathroom, separate toilet. The villa is entirely air-conditioned.

Unusually close to the centre of town for a villa in Cannes, this French Riviera property is 50 meters from the beach, yet situated in a quiet, residential neighbourhood opposite the beautifully restored 19th century buildings of the Fondation Santa Maria. The complex includes a historical chapel and occupies an entire city block down to the sea.

The Boulevard du Midi runs right along the seashore from this Côte d'Azur holiday home. It is a great stretch of fine, champagne-coloured sand several miles long - a place to lie and to relax, to sunbathe and to enjoy the view of yachts on the Bay of la Napoule running before the wind with multi-coloured spinnakers ballooning in the breeze, or to jog for miles along the beach. Snack bars, cafés and restaurants line the boulevard all the way to the Old Port, the Festival Hall and la Croisette. After a day in the hot French Riviera sun, the beach is only a minute away from a refreshing shower and a glass of cold rosé in the garden under the shade of an umbrella palm.

One of the most beautiful cities on the Riviera, Cannes is known throughout the world for its prestigious film festival, as well as many other international professional conventions in business, the arts and media communications. With its wonderful year-round climate, Cannes provides the ideal setting for a fantastic working visit, artist retreat, or vacation holiday. La Croisette, beaches, seafood restaurants, cafes and terraces, as well as Le Suquet (the old quarter), local Provençal fairs, the "Vieux Port", artisans' areas, antique markets and world class shopping, are all within a short distance, providing a glamorous backdrop to the beautiful Mediterranean.

A variety of excursions are available from Cannes: Nice-Antibes, Eze-Monaco-San Remo, Saint Tropez-Port Grimaud, hilltop villages (St. Paul de Vence, Tourrettes sur Loup, Gourdon, Grasse), Aix-en-Provence, Porquerolles, the Lerins Islands, Les Gorges du Verdon, Avignon, Cassis...

Artistic visits could include: The Picasso Museum (Antibes), The Fernand Leger Museum (Biot), The Chagall Museum (Nice), La Fondation Maeght (St. Paul de Vence), The Matisse Museum (Nice)...

"The Cte d'Azur belongs to all those who dream of it". It is beaches, luxury hotels and sun-drenched towns. It loves nightlife, cinema, glitter and roulette, being under in the limelight, while protecting its natural environment. It also elegantly dons the latest creations from haute couture while jogging in a white sweat suit at dawn. It revels in the maze of streets of its perched villages, hikes on mountain peaks flirting with the sky "canyoneers" in white water. It can be theatrical, adores opera and putting on a show before strolling, holding a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers, in the aisles of a colourful market. The French Riviera is as you like it: eternal.
