We arrived for rental Jan. 1 thru March 31. We were only there 3 days and we told them we were coming back for 2014. Pictures don't do justice to the actual furnishings, they didn't forget anything when decorating and supplying this property. They even supplied a few 1st night supplies so we didn't have to immediately go to a grocery store. Home is well insulated so you don't hear what the neighbors are watching on tv and the temperature stays pretty constant inside, even if it doesn't outside. Perfect location: beach walk less than 5 min., Cocoa Beach Pier 2 mi. south, easy walk or bike ride. North to Jetty Park and Port Canaveral, maybe 4 miles, thru the neighborhoods or on beach. Local fresh meat market only 2 1/2 blocks, fresh seafood at the Port., markets don't open until Noon because the boats aren't unloaded until about 11:30. Local farmers have a Street Market on Thursdays, near the tennis courts and Library from 9 to 2 PM. 1st Friday of every month Street Fair , again by tennis courts and Library 6 Pm to 10 PM. The neighborhood is very non-commercial so not a lot of traffic, except for locals. Anything you might want to do or need to get is less than 10 min. by car. We saw 3 different space launches from the beach, night one was definitely more impressive. The property owners are wonderful people and very accessible if we had a problem or a question. Called us after a few days to make sure we arrived safely to Adams Ave. and everything was ok. They even checked on us on our way home. Definitely a HOME AWAY FROM HOME. We're counting the days until we go back!
