Description of the Cape Charles vacation home rental

This home is located on Latimer's Bluff, about 800 feet from Lankford Highway and about one mile north of the CBBT. This wooded lot is very unique being that it gives you direct access to the use of the beach by way of your own private stairwell. The beach is pristine and private. The Sunsets from this lot are that of your dreams.

This two story home has a full garage downstairs and the living quarters upstairs. A full deck is located on the upstairs and faces the beach. The simple but comfortable livings space consists of a large great room area with dining combined. A full kitchen with range, refrigerator and microwave is an open plan is most comfortable. A sofa, easy boy recliner and chairs allow you to share the days events and relax. A washer and dryer is located in the garage downstairs. This units has one full bath, two bedrooms with a queen bed in one, a fold out couch in the living room and bunk beds in the other. An outside shower is conveniently located on the first floor exterior for those outside showers you like to make once exiting the beach from a day of fishing and swimming.

A good catch of local fish can be had at your beach. (croaker, spot, flounder) Take your cleaned catch to StingRay's Restaurant and they will cook it for you. Use our boat slip in nearby Cape Charles, launch from the State Park for the day or just bring your boat in front of our beach. You can moore your boat in front of this beach withstanding weather and beach conditions. (Anchor provided for hookup) A large garage is on the first floor for your use for storage of recreational equipment, small boats, beach accessories and our gas grill. Area Description

Located about 1 mile north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel on the bay side. Large wooded lot w/private stairwell to your secluded private beach. Fantastic for boating, swimming, fishing or just relaxing. Located near just a few other homes in a rural setting. The home is nesteled about 850 feet from the main road and accessable by private driveway. surrounded by farmland and the Kiptopeke State Park to the left and a few attractive homes to the right. The CBBT is visable from your vacation property as well as the concrete ships located in front of Kiptopeke state park to the right. A rural setting with easy access to StingRay's restaurant as well as the small town of Cape Charles, VA (8 miles north of this property.) Conveniently located about 25 miles north of Virginia Beach, VA.

Unique property. Only 3 waterfront homes available for rent. This is one of them. Fantastic sunsets, boat can be moored on beach if weather cooperates. Safe area for children for fishing from the shore. Sunsets you dream of. Very relaxing area, not open to the public. This is the only home on Latimers Bluff available for rent to the public. The rest are private homes. StingRay's restaurant is 4 miles norths serving local seafood and family style restaurant favorites for more than 50 years. Eastern Shore pottery is next store.

Truely a relaxing and refreshing getaway. Not a traditional vacation resort. This is a place to go if you want to relax and not do what the average tourist does while on vacation. . This area is laid back and allows you to read your favorite book, spend time with loved ones, watch a sunset, observe a school of blue fish feeding and completely relax and watch nature at it's best. When is the last time you sat in a nice lawn chair, watched the water and done absolutely nothing but read, sun bathe and just relax? Thank you for your inquiry
