Description of the Cape Charles vacation home rental
This very comfortable 4 bedroom with 2.5 baths and a little over ½ mile from the beach. The villa has well over 2500 square feet of living space with a 2 car garage. The huge kitchen has a new stove, microwave, center island with all granite countertops, truly a chef's delight. The living room is open and very comfortable. There you will find a 40 inch flat screen HD TV's with a high definition dish-network receiver. Relax and watch HBO, and many more channels. There is also a DVD player to watch movies. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, your own private bathroom with a jetted tub and separate large shower, very relaxing. We can not forget the beach which is located less than 1 mile from the villa. The beach at Kiptopeke State Park is simply pristine. Allow the crystal clear water and the deep blue sky to charm you as the sea breeze takes you away from the stress of the big city.
If you have a large group the William Morrison Beach Villa is available for rent next door which has similar features.
Area Information
This is a vacation for everyone, if you enjoy nature you will find the Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wild Life Refuge which consists of 1,393 acres of spectacular wild life and natural beauty just over 1 mile from the house. If you want to explore the area Virginia Beach is about 30 min away. Come and Enjoy Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
Allow the crystal clear water and deep blue sky to charm you as you ponder on what to do next. If you want to explore the area, Virginia Beach is a 30 min drive away.
A must see is NASA's visitors' center on Wallops Island depicts the beginning of American space explorations. Visit the National Wildlife refuge in Chincoteaque . Also the Eastern Shore of Virginia Wild Life Refuge which is a litte over 1 mile from the home. The Beach at kiptopeke which is a little over ½ mile from the villa’s is simply awesome, stunning, can I say more? The Eastern Shore has sightings of over 200 bird species and is home to migratory birds. Fisherman's Island is a breeding ground for Pelicans. Virginia Beach's oceanfront is a 30 minute drive over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Here you find Maritime Museums, Harbor Park, MacArthur Shopping Mall and an aquarium at the Naticus Maritime Center. Day trips to Williamsburg, Va where there are shopping outlets. At the end of your day come back and enjoy sitting in the backyard watching the worries of the big city drift away on the sea breeze. You will love your get away! Fun, joy, rest!! Great Place!

We stay here at least twice a year. It is a great place. Dr Morrison and is uncle are wonderful to deal with. Very nice gentlemen. We recommend this place to all our friends interested in going to the Eastern Shore - The Betty or the William are both great houses to rent.

Nous avons grandement apprécié cette maison spacieuse. Nous étions 8 et avions tous amplement d'espace. La maison est adossée au State Park, ce qui nous a permis d'observer un troupeau de cerfs à plusieurs reprises à l'arrière de la maison. Il y a beaucoup d'oiseaux et d'insectes, bref c'est la nature ! La plage au State Park est naturelle et lors de notre passage à la fin août, était très peu fréquentée (max 10 familles). On est loin de la foule de Virginia Beach ! Pour les jeunes enfants ce n'est pas stressant car l'eau y est chaude et peu profonde. Il y a très peu de vagues (côté droit du quai). Un matin de marrée basse nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir a suivre les crabes bernard-l'hermite dans l'eau. Au niveau de la plage du parc il y a des douches et des toilettes. On peut se rendre à la plage en auto (stationnement 3 ou 4$), en vélo (gratuit et il y a une piste cyclable) ou à pied (environ 20 minutes). L'endroit est sécuritaire et il y a peu de circulation. Je recommande l'endroit a ceux qui aime prendre leur vacances en campagne. Vous devez communiquer avec le propriétaire et le concierge en anglais.

Just Like Home.........You Will Love It!!!!

My family and I had an extraordinary time while staying at the Betty Morrison home. It was incredibly spacious and comfortable and we had a wonderful time! The Kiptopeke Park beach is just minutes away and the Cape Charles Beach which is about 10 minutes away is so clean and secluded that you almost feel like you are on your own private beach. You will love the house, I promise! Between the 4 large bedrooms, the HUGE loft area, the inviting kitchen and dining room and the comfy living room area, you are going to just fall in love. What a wonderful way to spend your vacation, we cannot wait to come back!

The Betty Morrison home is so nice and spacious. The kitchen is large the loft upstair was hugh!! My entire family loved it and want to rent it again real soon. The owner is so nice and helpful a great place to stay. It made me remember just how nice the Eastern Shore really is!!!!! If I would have one thing to say it would be a suggestion; that maybe a second television upstairs might be a plus. Thanks so much!

the house is definite a home away from home. we really felt home there the house is perferct for family gathering and for a great vacation. there is a lot of space there and a great yard. i love the peace and quiet there especially the wildlife that comes past the yard. i will continue to use this as our home away from home spot.

This property is truly a home away from home. It is beautifully built with all of the amentities. There are high end appliances and the owner and his family are great people, they are very friendly and appreciative of the guests. Every bedroom is large and there is even one downstairs just in case someone can not do the stairs. Every person in my family was pleased and we are going back again real soon. Thank you Morrison family for such a beautiful Cape Charles experience.
