Description of the Cape Coral vacation home rental

Our beautiful vacation home 'Mi Ranchito' is located in a quiet residential area, not too close to neighbours, but only 5min away from Pine Island Road where you can find all sorts of shopping, restaurants, fitness etc. Fort Myers Beach or Sanibel about 15 Miles. We have south exposure, also open to west. From our sun deck great view of sunrise and sunset over the fresh water canal.

The house was built in 2005, completely renovated and high standard refurnished in a contemporary modern style in February 2009. The house offers soaring ceilings and over 2400 sq ft of air-conditioned, tiled open space living area that include formal dining room, living room, pool billard and fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and morning nook, as well as huge sliding doors to the pool and patio.

Area Information

Cape Coral is just beautiful. A nice town and short drive to the finest beaches in FL: Sanibel, Captiva or Fort Myers Beach.

If you look it up in googlemaps you will find the junction Pine Island Rd / Nicholas Pkwy one major block down. That is where you can find the nearest 24h supermarket (Wall Mart), Kohls, Office Max etc. It takes you about two minutes to get there.
Pine Island Rd is the northern center of Cape Coral, everything is right there. Publix, banks, fitness and all sorts of nice restaurants. To get into Fort Myers it takes you about 10-15 min, to the airport only 30 min. The Edison Mall in Fort Myers is really nice for shopping!

If you take Pine Island the other direction, west, 10min heading Pine Island it takes you to the beautiful historic fishermen's village Matlache, very scenic. Arts and nice dining on the water.

Very nice and well located vacation home

This house has the WOW factor, it was more than what we expected. Very spacious open concept, 3 patio door open completely to the pool (very nice). I golfed 10 games, so being close to golf courses was important. I also like to fish so being on the canal was perfect. My wife and I like to shop and go to restaurants and the house location was perfect for that also. Just might be back next year.

Absoutely Awesome!

My husband and I were very pleased with this rental. The owners and caretakers of the home were so nice and pleasant. There was nothing that we needed; the house was equipped with everything we needed. It was our "home" away from home! We loved the area. Very quiet & serene. We were only 20 minutes from the beach and enjoyed one day on the beach. However, the pool in the linai was beautiful as was the jacuzzi. We have no complaints and would like to go back, maybe next year! Maybe bring a couple of friends as this house is so big & beautiful! We also had fun playing pool in our spare down time. The shopping centers were close by and we were also close to a huge flea market. This property makes me want to live there!

Fantastic house near everything

We were here for January, February and March of 2012. We really enjoyed everything about this house. It is so close to all shopping and restaurants. Bob, the caretaker, was wonderful and so helpful always no matter what we needed. An added attraction were the cute burrowing owls across the street and also at many nearby locations. The house has a wonderful, large modern kitchen and a big flat screen TV in the great room as well as smaller TV's in the master bedroom and the queen size bedroom. Mi Ranchito is one of the nicest "homes" we have ever rented after 11 years as Snowbirds. It is private and yet only 5 mins from shopping for groceries or whatever. The home is nicely furnished and we very much enjoyed the solar heated pool The owners and help are great to deal with. Our only regret is that we did not rent this house for a longer period. Danke - thank you - Ricolf and Susanne. We hope that we can once again rent from you next year!
