Beautiful home but poor maintenance

This home and furnishings are 5 star quality however we had many problems with maintenance. The first problem was that the pool control did not work and therefore we could not use the hot tub until Tuesday when it was returned to us "fixed" however by Friday it was not working properly again. My youngest son was swimming and playing in the pool when he cried out because he had a large piece of glass lodged in his toe. The broken glass was not from us but someone previous. It was told to us that they did not actually vacuum the pool previous to our arrival but they used an auto vac. They also had to shock the pool when they came to vacuum because the pool was cloudy so we had to continue to wait to use it. We had to request that the cleaner be recalled because the one shower had so much build up of soap residue that it was dangerously slippery. The house came equipped with glasses,plates, utensils, bedding and towels. Almost all of the plates and mugs were badly chipped and the towels in the master were either stained or there were areas that the die was badly off colour. I only mention this because it makes a difference between a 3 star and a 5 star rental. The final problem that we encountered was that the battery in the smoke detector needed to be changed. Of course this went off in the middle of the night and although those 12 foot ceilings were lovely getting the smoke detector down was challenging. If the batteries were changed yearly as is suggested by the fire marshal it would not have been a problem. We have rented many homes in Florida and happily I can say that this is the first time that we have been disappointed/angry, regarding the glass in my sons foot and the fact that he had to be bandaged for over a week for it to heal. I hope the owners are made aware of these problems because their home should be receiving 5 star ratings

We enjoyed the holidays at this lovely home. The property manager was overly accommodating with a couple of issues we encountered. With lots of family in the area, this home provided great entertainment space for us to all be together!

Wonderful, clean, spacious and comfortable home. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this home. The family totally enjoyed everything about it.
My family stayed at the Bellagio home in late March. The house was absolutely immaculate! Beautifully decorated, everything we needed for our vacation. The heated pool and spa were amazing. Granite countertops throughout the house, double-headed shower in the masterbath; we were definitely spoiled. The owners (property manager) were very pleasant to work with, and even checked on us during our stay to make sure everything was okay. The house came complete with blowdryers, beach towels, bed rails for our young daughters and even had games inside the media center for us to play at night. Not to mention the beautiful pool table that we played on all week long. This is one amazing vacation home!! We only wish we had more time to stay!
The beach at the Cape Coral Yacht Club was only 5 minutes away. All the stores were within close proximity and we loved that the house is in a quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend the Bellagio home to anyone who wants to pamper themselves!! (Jeffrey W: 3/27-4/3/2010)

This is a beautiful house. We loved every aspect of it! My husband loved the grill and we both loved the pool. We had a fun, relaxing honeymoon, exactly what we wanted.
