We had a very bad experience at this home. The owner came at least every other day and when he was there we would see him looking in. We had no privacy. We had left the kitchen windows open one day with the air conditioner on and came back to a very nasty letter on the door and he had gone in without us there. The bed is awful. Noisy and hard and our feet hung over. There are no dressers for the clothes so we lived out of our suitcase. They had some plastic bins . The neighborhood is very scarey. The first week we were greeted by police who had the right neighborhood but wrong address. The day we left several detectives came and asked us questions about someone in the neighborhood. We feel the price was way too high for the quality of the residence. The lawn wasn't mowed in the back till the halfway through our stay and the front was mowed two days before we left. We will never return.
We have to maintain the koi pond & feed them, we do not go into the house unless necessary. We have signs noting to close windows & doors when the AC is on & they were open & the AC was on, that is a blatant misuse of property! Checked with neighbors, No Police or Detectives were known about by anyone & it is the safest neighborhood around! The beds are perfectly fine & lots of storage for clothing! These are the first people to complain. We would never want them back again!

This house in perfectly named...an ideal getaway to refresh your spirit.
What an prime location to totally forget about the cold, dreary Ohio winters. The house is so open and airy and beautifully decorated with a friendly, homey atmosphere. Our hosts had stocked the house with everything you could possibly need and more. We enjoyed many hours out on the lanai with our morning coffee and papers/ and afternoons of reading. The yard is private and so peaceful, just perfect to soak up some sun and work on a "natural" winter tan, or take a much needed nap.
The property is centrally located to easily access shopping for goodies, groceries or necessities. The maps and booklets (provided by our hosts)were very helpful to find our way around the area. Our favorite place to dine was Mel's Diner which offers a variety of meals to please anyone. If you prefer to dine in, the kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you may need.
We would zip down to the local CVS(right around the corner) to pick up the morning paper. The traffic was very easily navigated and NO POTHOLES! We took day trip to Sanibel Island...breathtakingly beautiful, and another to the Edison/Ford Museum. There's so much to see and do!
The owners provided excellent customer service, from rescuing us when we were lost when we first arrived, and making sure the heat was adjusted when there was a "cold snap' in early January. The house and yard are well maintained.
We would highly recommend Chez Paradise to anyone who is considering visiting the Cape Coral area. It's an joyful experience you don't want to miss! Lucy and Fritz, thank you for sharing your Chez Paradise with us.
