Cape Coral is located on the beautiful southwest coast of Florida. There is over 400 miles of navigable canals in our city along, with many lakes, and the Caloosahatchee River which also connects(Inter-coastal waterway) to the east coast of Florida. It is a boaters' paradise! If you enjoy boating, fishing, golfing, and beautiful sunsets, Cape Coral is your dream destination.

Located near all the beaches of Sanibel and Captiva Islands and Ft. Myers Beach. The summer days are filled with sea breezes and showers with daily highs around 90*F. The winter days are sunny with sea breezes and highs around 80*F.

There are many parks, playgrounds, golf courses, fishing and sailing right here in Cape Coral. The Edison/Ford estates are in Ft Myers, as well as many other attractions.

Christmas and New Year's Eve 2012 at Cape Coral

We had wonderful Christmas holidays at Villa Delight at Cape Coral. The first evening when we arrived we already felt at home because of the warm design in the house. Then the next morning when we woke up, we were impressed by the amazing water view that we enjoyed everytime when we relaxed at the pool or were sitting at the breakfast table. We often opened the massive glass doors to let the fresh air into the house. The house has a pretty furniture and decoration. Also it was no problem with the heated pool to go swimming even if it was a bit colder outside sometimes. Cape Coral is a great place to stay because from there you can visit a lot of the sights and cities of Florida. We were at Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, Sanibel Island, even Miami and Orlando and of course Fort Myers. We celebrated New Year's Eve at Fort Myers Beach where we were watching the impressive firework. It was unbelievable beautiful, definitely the most beautiful one we ever saw. It was the best way to start 2013. Also it is always a pleasure to see John again who is always there if you need help. We will never forget our amazing holiday and we are looking forward to our next visit at Cape Coral Florida. Family Lutz

Family Vacation at Villa Delight - 2012

Upon arrival we were impressed with the well appointed Villa Delight. The home has been fully remodeled with high end materials. All linens and furniture are top of the line which lends to the rich feel of the home. The pool deck too was furnished with high end comfortable furniture. The views from inside the home and from the deck of the canal were amazing. I often peered out the massive glass doors, taking in the marvelous view, while preparing meals in the kitchen. We rented a boat for the week and secured at the homes dock. We took it out almost daily to Picnic Island. It is about a 40 minute ride to the lock from the house. Seeing the million dollar homes along the spreader canal is worth the time. I highly recommend leasing a boat during your stay for fishing or for leisure island touring. The Villa Delight is perfectly located to enjoy such an experience. Our boys caught a 3' bonnethead shark while fishing at Picnic Island. They also caught many sea catfish from the Villa Delight dock. The pool was also enjoyed by our four teenage boys. It was large and refreshing. John B., the property manager was very professional and helpful. We have vacationed in Orlando and Miami for the past 15 years, but John was the first property manager that ever met us at the home we rented. It was nice having the personal touch and knowing we could call John if anything went wrong. My family and I had the best vacation ever. We spent one day in Miami (2.5 hour drive) and one day at Fort Myers Beach. My family and I highly recommend Villa Delight in Cape Coral. It is perfect for those that have outgrown the parks in Orlando.
