Description of the Cape Elizabeth vacation home rental
The house features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, the master bath has a shower stall, while the other bath has tub & shower. Downstairs is a large living room overlooking the pond, a large open kitchen & dining area, and an office area just off the kitchen.
The house is up on a hill and provides an incredible sense of privacy overlooking the neighborhood, while out back, there is total privacy. The pond is not recommended for swimming, lots of mud, frogs, turtles, and ducks!

Even nicer in reality than in pictures

The property is secluded, at the end of a pleasant block of homes and right off the main thorofare of Cape Elizabeth, so access to Portland and the Cape shore is very quick and easy. In addition to the house property (which needs a bit of weeding) the area has lots of wonderful parks and trails. The house itself is roomy, very pleasantly decorated and has all the amenities (we did not try the hot tub). We would certainly return to this property if we plan to vacation in the area again.

Peaceful homey setting

Visited for a week with our extended family which includes 5 grandchildren, 4 of which are under 5 yrs.old. Quite area with room to play plus a duck in the pond! Large kitchen w/ 2 ovens a plus for feeding 10. Also appreciated nearness to ocean, Portland, stores, restaurants, etc. Our only wish might have been that the hot tub had been in better working condition. All in all though, would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay here over the holidays, the house had everything we were looking for. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, glassware, tableware, etc. The wood stove kept everything warm and toasty, and the living room was comfortable to sit around and chat or play cards. The views outside the windows of the back of the home are very pretty--my mother-in-law said it looked like a calendar. One member of our family was cold at night (she has been living in a much warmer state). However, the house had many blankets and some rooms had electric blankets, so we were able to get her extra blankets to keep her warm. The house is near a convenience mart and the grocery store and downtown Portland are not too far. At night the house comfortably slept 8 (in four bedrooms, with two bathrooms upstairs and a half downstairs). Gathering 10 people for meals was not a problem, although the house would probably not comfortably fit more than 10 people during the day. I would recommend this house for families that are interested in a relaxing vacation and cooking their own meals. I would not recommend this house for young adult groups. The neighborhood is very quiet and there aren't a lot of things to do without going into Portland.

We rented this home for a week for 6 adults and 1 infant (and one dog!) to attend a nearby wedding. Win and Jane keep a wonderful home that we felt very welcomed and comfortable in -- the home has all amenities, a large kitchen and dining room, a comfortable living space, and four good sized bedrooms. We would highly recommend this rental to a family looking for a very reasonably priced rental in the Cape Elizabeth area. They have a washing machine that is detergent free, it works using ultraviolet technology, that I loved to wash our infant's clothes in! Family room featured a nice flat screen and very comfortable couches/chairs. Outside patio area with gas grill is adorable, and the neighboring pond lends a relaxing atmosphere. Very clean and pleasant, rent this home!

We were in desparate need of a 3 or 4 bedroom vacation rental for 5 adults and were running out of time, after a late night internet email inquiry, I received a response from Win, and from that point on everything went smoothly. The house is beautiful and comfortably furnished and the outside deck with chairs was just the right spot to relax after our busy weekend. I recommend 10 Clinton Road with no reservations.

Whether you are from Maine, coming home to visit, or from “away” coming to Maine for a vacation, The Clinton House is the Quintessential New England home and provides the perfect environment to enjoy the area, any time of the year! We rented the home over the Thanksgiving holidays to host family gatherings. The home was perfect for entertaining, providing a warm, comfortable environment. The layout of the house was both conducive for a large sit down diner, while also having separate spaces for more quiet conversations. The home is very tastefully decorated; reflecting the area nicely. The back deck and yard not only provide a wonderful backdrop to the home, but also plenty of space to explore for younger visitors. You will have everything you need to live comfortably during your stay, as the home is very well appointed. We thoroughly recommend the Clinton Home for your accommodations in Maine. The home was the centerpiece of a wonderful trip for us!

Warm, Comfortable Family Experience

Most of our family resides in the greater Portland Area, where as my brother and I live out of state. So, we rented this home for a family reunion of sorts and traditional Thanksgiving Dinner . I am happy to share that The "New England" style and proximity of this home were perfect for a Maine family gathering The kitchen is aptly equipped with two stoves, ample work space and a large refrigerator. We enjoyed the warmth of the two wood stoves to keep us comfy in both the large dinning room and the spacious living/ Tv room. The childred kept busy by feeding the ducks in the pond outside or playing games in the study. Once again, it is terrific home for preparing and cooking a large meal with plenty of room for lounging and socializing. This wonderful place is now part of some fond family memories.

Perfect location

This is the perfect location for anyone who needs to get away and just relax. The house is on a hill surrounded by trees. Very private and very peaceful. Tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you would need. It's only a few miles from the beach, stores and the City of Portland. Great location for site seeing. My family had a wonderful time there. We hope to go back next year. I would highly recommend staying there to anyone planning a Maine vacation.

Wonderful home

Stayed at Win's place for one week with family of six (4 adults, 2 kids). Plenty of room throughout house (nicely furnished) and on back deck (comfy chairs) or down by the pond to just hang out and relax. All necessary kitchen-ware and linens available. Kids had fun building fairy-houses out back. Crescent Beach State Park 5 mins away...IGA supermarket 1 min away... Portland Head light 3 mins away... downtown Portland 10 mins away... Portland Airport 20 mins away. Couldn't ask for a more convenient location. Haven't felt this relaxed following a vacation in a long, long time (my wife agreed). Thanks Win for a beautiful, convenient place to stay during a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful Maine stay

The house in cape elizabeth was delightful to stay in. Win has a beautiful home. The bed rooms were comfy. The living spaces large and decorated wonderfully. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we need. Proximity to the beaches and Portland could not have been better. The back porch area was excellent for the eight or so of us to hang out and relax. Truely relaxing. Loved it would do it again in a second.
