Gorgeous new Victorian-style home with panoramic views of Cape May's best beaches and the beautiful ocean from almost every room. Huge house, sleeps 17 comfortably. Handicap accessible, with large elevator, wide doors, low light switches, and first-floor bedrooms. First and second floor wrap-around decks and porches. Perfect for vacations or special occasions. All rooms are large and airy. Numerous features, including central air, gourmet kitchen, family room with wet bar and large living room. Master Suite has private sitting room, private deck, and marble master bath with whirlpool tub. Indoor and outdoor dining, with plenty of seating (gas grill on outdoor deck). Right across from the beach of Cape May (back on New Jersey, angled on the lot facing Beach and Trenton Ave's to maximize views of the beach), within walking distance of fine restaurants and many Cape May attractions. Available for rentals throughout the year. Minimum 1 week in June, July, August. Minimum 2 nights through Spring, Fall, and Winter. This is one of many houses offered by the same owner. Houses are in Wildwood, Anglesea and Cape May of various sizes and styles. All have central air, offstreet parking, gas grills, and many other features. All are on or near the ocean. relaxing, beautiful and clean!

This home is beautiful! The warfy and rustic overview of the neighborhood is delighful. Most beautiful sunsets we have ever experienced from our very own deck. The fishing was slow, but we did manage a few blues and crabs. My husband kayaked everyday, while I relaxed. I brought my laptop, but never turned it on. Daily walks on the beach with Cali our dog were perfect. We all loved it. Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Trush.

though this is a nice positive review, I cannot take credit for it. This party never stayed at my house. I have asked 'vacationhomerentals' to remove it but they have not responded.

1228 New Jersey Avenue

The rental located at 1228 New Jersey Avenue turned out to be a wonderful time for my family. When we first checked in, there were a number of issues that had to be taken care of and the owner came over to handle many of the issues including a broken disposal, backed up downstairs bathroom and overall cleanliness in several of the rooms. The apartment was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival and we cleaned up after prior guests. The house is beautiful and I can only imagine how other families treat this facility. We were able to see how they have abused the furniture in this lovely home including the cushions on the couches which make you sink when you sit. The spacious house gave my family plenty of room and the wrap around deck was a great retreat at night. We would recommend this location to others and ended up having a great week at the beach. Thank you.

Owner's reply:

New furnishings, new paint, and new electronics (including 50 inch flat screen in living room and kitchen areas) have been added to this home. I also have a new cleaning crew who does a more thorough job and checks all appliances to be sure they are working properly.

Great house for a family gathering. Clean and upddated. For the price, would have liked a tv in the kitchen/living room area - maybe some flat screens - so all 17 people would not have to watch the same show or maybe even a nice piped in stereo system would help. All in all, great area with beach views.

Owner's reply:

Since this group stayed in the house, we have added a 50" flat screen tv in the living room, dining and kitchen areas (large open floorplan so all 3 areas can view the tv). We have added a stereo system and we have added tv's in the bedrooms.
