Beautiful pet friendly spot!

“ Excellent ”
March 25, 2015
Drove from NOLA with my youngest daughter and her 9 month old boxer puppy. It was his first time at the beach and getting in the salty water. We splashed and laughed to see him having such fun! Went for several walks on this very white sand beach running into a large jelly fish! The sunsets were amazing and the ice cream place within walking distance was a treat! Number 91 is a quick walk to the beach and found it very comfortable and very well supplied. Feeding the turtles in the pond below was such a treat! This was our second time at the Cape and we're sure to go back.

Wonderful December trip / Barrier Dunes 441

“ Excellent ”
December 10, 2014
I spent the first week of December first at Sandestin (3 nights) then met up with my son and his fiancee at Cape San Blas. We had 7 days of pure sunshine and warm temps for Dec. Was not expecting temps in the high 70's so this was a plus. My two labs had a blast and my oldest labbie, Jackson, had a little trouble go up the stairs of the condo so I came up with a system that lifted his back legs and took the weight off; towel under his hindquarters and lifted/assisted him. I mention this only because if you have an older dog; don't let the stairs stop you from renting. I weigh the same as Jackson and could easily do this; made the experience much more pleasant knowing that my furkids were happy too. Pet stations are all over the property; great! We had all the necessities to cook almost all our meals and I even cooked a big turkey in the oven. There is a selection of movies onsite and the cable was more than adequate; but then I wasn't there to watch TV! Walked on the beach everyday and napped in the sand to the sound of the gentle surf. Worst part of the trip was going home again. But glad to know that I can come back again. Gary was such a wonderful host - returned my calls promptly and cleared up any little issue quickly.

Dolphins Dance: Excellent Cape San Blas condo

“ Excellent ”
April 12, 2015
My husband and I rented Dolphins Dance in April 2015 for our spring break getaway. It was a wonderful experience. The condo was very clean and comfortable and was stocked with all the basics we needed. Our 2 dogs were welcome and enjoyed their daily walks to the beach. The beach was a short walk away, with beach items provided. We enjoyed fishing from the beach, gathering seashells, and talking with other beach-goers. We found everyone at Barrier Dunes to be very friendly. Our stay at Dolphins Dance was exceptional and we would highly recommend this condo for your next vacation. The rental process was seamless and Cathy and Tom went out of their way to ensure that our stay was the best.

Our house Seas the Day was spacious , well decorated , and most important to us the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, utensils, serving pieces, plates, etc. The staff at Costal Joe were so friendly and helpful. It was the best vacation rental experience ever! The online description of the house was accurate as well as the location. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and really enjoyed having our own pool!

Great Quiet Getaway!

“ Excellent ”
April 14, 2015
Loved this place. Mr. Kite was very helpful from start to finish, and was great with tips about the property, where to eat, etc. The house is immaculate. Short ride to both Apalachicola is well worth it. Quaint shops, a unique experience for sure. Not anything like the touristy parts of the gulf coast. Best Oysters in the world at "Hole in the Wall" in Apalachicola. Cape San Blas has the most beautiful beaches and sunsets I've seen in long time. Cant want to go again!

Accomodations were quite nice with many provided amenities that are not included elsewhere. Easy access to the beach and the pool form Unit 7. Beautiful view from three decks. About Cape San Blas

Cape San Blas, FL Travel Tips

Cape San Blas, FL, isn’t your typical vacation destination. Despite its magnificent white sands and clear blue-green waters, the area remains a clean, quiet, and seemingly unknown destination. Located on a 17-mile barrier peninsula, it’s the ultimate relaxation spot for families in search of a peaceful escape. Cape San Blas vacation rentals are the perfect place to call home when visiting this breathtaking area. The key is to find a rental that is comfortable and suitable for the size of one’s family. Cape San Blas rentals are often available in a variety of shapes and sizes and in various locations; and, when planning a stay in one of our featured Cape San Blas rentals, it’s important to plan ahead and choose which attractions and local events might be enjoyable for your family.

Attractions

Following a restful morning in Cape San Blas vacation rentals, visitors often head to one of the area’s outdoor attractions. Salinas Park is a popular beachfront park where one can enjoy a picnic or the boardwalk or even go for a horseback ride. Cape Palms Park is another park that is located down Cape San Blas Road and includes a playground and grills for barbecuing.
Those staying in Cape San Blas rentals should also visit the T.H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park during their visit. This is a top-rated beach where the family can sunbathe, snorkel, or fish. You may also bring a boat from your Cape San Blas rental, as there is also a boat launch. Activities that take place on the area’s beaches are also popular attractions for people who’ve made plans for vacation rentals. Cape San Blas activities are mellow and relaxing, and kids will enjoy searching for shells.
Scalloping is another unique and popular activity, although some travel to nearby locations may be necessary to find the best spots. A healthy run can be fun, especially in a location as beautiful as Cape San Blas. Set out for a vigorous run or go biking on the Loggerhead Run Bike Path. This is perfect for members of the family who want to get a little exercise in during their vacation.

Events

In a state where tourism has left its mark on most of the popular destinations, Cape San Blas has proudly remained mostly unaffected. This is in part by design and is the reason there are no high-rise buildings in the immediate area. In keeping with its reputation for being a pristine beach town with minimal ...
