Fisherhaven is a small village 15 kilometres from Hermanus which is one of the world's best whale-watching sites, especially in August, and a favourite spot for paragliding. Hermanus is a lovely Cape style town with excellent restaurants, coffee bars and shopping. Cape Town is one hours drive away with an international airport and car hire.
The house is a five minute walk from the lagoon and a protected wetland. The lagoon is excellent for swimming, boating and windsurfing. Beautiful beaches 10 minutes drive away offer good swimming, snorkeling and surfing. Scuba diving facilities are locally available.
