Description of the Captiva vacation home rental

This vacation home has everything you need for a peaceful vacation in paradise! Located 200 yards from a long, white sandy beach on the Gulf of Mexico, it is also only 50 yards from a lovely pool and the newly surfaced tennis courts. New gas grills await you at the pool.

My home consists of a master suite with a California king size bed and loft with a trundle bed that sleeps 2 on the second floor. On the first floor there is a guest bedroom and bath. The maximum number of guests is 6. The kitchen is new and fully equipped to meet all of your needs. There are hardwood floors throughout the first floor. The screened lanai is a perfect place to relax after a day at the beach.

Located in the Captiva village, it is a 3 minute walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. There are activities such as parasailing available on the beach. Our community has FREE boat dockage only 2 minutes from my home.

Come to Captiva for a vacation you won't forget. It will leave you yearning to return!

Area Information

Captiva island is located in Southwest Florida, a 1 hour drive from the Fort Myers airport. As you leave Fort Myers, you travel through Sanibel Island to Captiva Island. Captiva is a small village with several unique restaurants offering outdoor seating and live music, daily. There are several shops to browse. Biking is an easy way to get around, although everything is within walking distance of my home.

You might opt for a boat cruise to see dolphins or a shelling expedition on the bay. Fishing trips, parasailing, sailing and other beach activities are located at various spots on the island....all within walking distance. In the evening everyone gathers at the beach to watch the sun set into the ocean. The sunsets are beautiful, and a wonderful way to end either an activity packed or restful day.
