Description of the Carlsbad vacation cottage rental

The cottage was build in 1952. It has been well cared for. It was recently updated, has new dishwasher, stove, washer and dryer. New floors in bathroom and kitchen. Living room has new carpet. The bathroom has been refurbished, tub with shower. The 2 bedrooms have woodfloors.
The house has a front yard and a large backyard that is all fenced. The house has new stucco.
Only draw back is the house is 2nd house from the train track. Some people this might be unaceptable but for others who are used to that sort of thing, like myself I never hear it. The house has new insulated windows so the noise is not too loud.
Yard has plants and orange tree, lemon tree, pomegranate, apricot trees.
Nice yard for children to play.

Area Description

House is on (not a through street) Two houses from train track. Houses on both sides, apartment house across the street. Beautiful old Victorian house almost directly across the street. It is near the end of a street lined with houses and condos.
It is a short walk to Tamarack Beach State Park. Grocery store and gas stations and other business's are less than a mile away, walking distance also.

We stayed for a month during the summer. It is a beautiful small house in a great neighborhood that was great fit for our Family of 6. It is a very enjoyable home and the owner is very friendly, she will help you with anything you need. its just a 5 minute walk to great Carlsbad beach. Our kids had a great time. We defenitely would love to return next year.

I grew up in this house, and it has been given TLC. This is the first time that it has been available for Vacations. There is a nice orange tree in the front yard with the most delicious oranges you could ever eat. So feel free to have a few. I will do everything I can to help you have an enjoyable stay and feel free to let me know if there was any problems or things that I could do to make a stay there more comfortable.
