Our group of 10 couples recently rented 2 homes in the Carlsbad area. This one, being the larger, was where everyone congregated for most of the 3-day weekend. Simply put, the house is HUGE and BEAUTIFUL. There was plenty of room for 20 people. After staying 3 nights and preparing meals for 20 here is everything negative any of us found-- 1) one of the bedrooms has bunk beds and just doesn't work for adults (though the owner did provide a blowup bed) 2) could use more pots and pans and more spatulas and 3) there was a plumbing problem-- but the owner sent a plumber IMMEDIATELY and it was resolved promptly! On the GOOD side-- everything else-- especially the owner who was incredibly CONCERNED that we were happy! BTW, the master bedroom is INCREDIBLE and might be worth the price of the house rental in itself. Bedroom + bath + closet is easily 1000 sq. feet! We rent properties every year and I can say confidently if you are considering a rental I strongly recommend this property!
