Description of the Carlsbad vacation home rental

Host your corporate event, small wedding or reception, party, family reunion,or vacation in a classic, elegant atmosphere. Come stay in our gorgeous 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 7 year old Victorian replica Mansion located on the lagoon in Carlsbad
California. Celebrate life while enjoying a magnificent view of the lagoon and also the beautiful Pacific Ocean. This home is very private, while being centrally located at the same time. Completely furnished with high end antiques, all linens, and a gourmet kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook and dine.

There is also a "Granny Flat", a 2 bedroom apartment connected to the main house that sleeps 7 easily. Can be rented with the main house, or by itself.

Area Description

Carlsbad's and Oceanside's great beaches, local attractions, world class resorts, shopping, restaurants, and night life, set the standard for an ultimate vacation destination. Only 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego, 90 minutes south of Los Angeles, and 1 1/2 hours from either the mountains or the desert... you could not ask for a more perfect location.

Other Vacation Rental Amenities

Our beautiful home is located across the street from the Buena Vista lagoon, with views of the Pacific Ocean right behind it. There is a train station in Carlsbad that can take you anywhere in San Diego, Los Angeles, or even to Mexico (which we do not advise going to at this time). Legoland is very close by, the famous Flower Fields, Oceanside Pier... you can walk to the Soup Plantation, Olive Garden, even the mall!

We had a great time at the Golden Fantasy Mansion.

The home itself was very unique and offered hours of entertainment just to tour the property, viewing the beautiful antique furnishing and hollywood movie memorabilia . . . It exceeded our expectations and was a pleasant surprise in comparison to what one would normally expect from a vacation home rental. We all had plenty of space, privacy and the attached Granny Flat was perfect for our multiple family set up.

The location was perfect, centrally located and just minutes from all the great vacation venues which Southern California has to offer.
