Perfect North Tahoe group get-away house
February 1, 2013
This beautiful and spacious house was a pure luxury for our group of 3 couples, 3 children, and a nanny. The house layout, including the adjacent studio, offered plenty of bedroom privacy as well as dining and living room common space. The well-equipped main kitchen made for wonderful group meals, and the large Jacuzzi under the stars and beside the pine trees certainly gave us our money’s worth (actually far less expensive than B&B rooms). The location is ideal for North Tahoe skiing within minutes of several resorts, and for dining out at many great local restaurants. The owner, Joe, is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, accessible, and accommodating. Our group will certainly return!
The house was perfect. The layout was fantastic as were all of the amenities. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful time. We enjoyed the master suite and hot tub and our girls enjoyed sleeping in bunk beds and building a tree fort in the forest in the back yard. We would definitely stay at this great home again.
-Lisa, Palo Alto CA.
We planned a spontaneous trip to Tahoe and found this house on CraigsList. Joe was a pleasure to work with in setting up the reservation and providing clear trip instructions from direction, entry instructions and home notes. The location is quiet and relaxing. Entering the house you walk in to a warm and inviting home. Convenient to restaurants, food shopping, and skiing - our trip was perfect. We were told to just pack our clothes and toiletries and we would find a stocked kitchen and towels. Well, he was right! It was my first time renting a home for a weekend and feel as if this experience spoiled us! -Rochelle, San Jose CA.
Hi Joe Just dropping you a line to thankyou for our stay in your home in Tahoe. We had a wonderful time and staying there added to the experience. Our Xmas day was fantastic and we found everything we needed to cook our meals. We visited Tahoe 3 years previous when we also had a great time but this time surpassed every ski trip we have ever been on for the past 20 plus yearsm this includes skiing all of the biggest resorts in Europe especially France. If we could ski Tahoe every year we would but we have vowed to go back as soon as possible . Homewood was a absolute pleasure to ski after the snow had fallen...beautiful. Pete, UK.
