Description of the Carolina Beach vacation condo rental

Great views from Oceanfront Condo featuring deck overlooking pool and ocean. Beach 70 steps away. Condo is upscale decorated; cable tvs all rooms, wi-fi. We are 3 blks from marina which runs moonlight and dancing cruises, charter and head boat fishing, and sightseeing cruises. Several restaurants within walking distance (3-6 block).

Unit contains all items necessary for your getaway. Kichen w/pots & pans, utensils, tableware, microwave, side-by-side 'frige, new dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, toaster, glass top stove, mixer, meas. cups & spoons, etc. New washer/dryer in unit.

Special OCEAN FRONT MASTER SUITE will lull you to sleep with the sound of the surf. It is a favorite with newlyweds and for anniversaries. Bring your camera to catch the sunrises from the ocean-side deck and the sunsets from the street-side deck---you'll get some fantastic shots.

We are a PET-FREE, SMOKE-FREE unit.

Area Information

Carolina Beach sits on the north end of "PLEASURE ISLAND," 10 min. from Wilmington. We are not Myrtle Beach or Florida. We are a sleepy little fishing/boating town with which you will fall in love, as we have.
Restaurants and shopping can be found within walking or biking distance. Favorites are Uncle Vinny's, R&G Barbeque, Ocean Grill (with pier dining at theTiki Bar), Surf House, Jack Mackerel's, Michael's, and many more!
All kinds of water sports activities abound here. Bike, kayak,and paddle boat rentals are available right there in town. Go to the PLEASUREISLANDNC site for events and attractions thru the year.
Live theater is found in Wilmington; THALIAN HALL is a favorite.
N.C. Aquarium andt Ft. Fisher 5 miles away. Catch the ferry to SOUTHPORT for a full day of antiques and ice creams. Also visit the CHRISTMAS HOUSE and have lunch/dinner at the PROVISION COMPANY (over the water) while there.
Tregumbo Zoo (voted best run private zoo) a few miles away; sightseeing tours via horse-drawn carriage, trolley, or boat in Wilmington. Must see - USS North Carolina!

It was wonderful to wake up early in the morning and hear the sound of the surf. Beautiful as the shrimping boats tugged by as we slowly did what we came to do...relax. Very nice.

Best Vacation

The property was wonderful. There was nothing we required that was not available. As stated, the ocean view, sunrise and sunset were truly awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the condo. The rooms were spacious , beds were great sizes and the beach equipment added a great touch. We are already planning for next year. Great 3 Bedroom ON THE BEACH

July 5, 2012

We loved our stay in this great 3 bedroom condo on the beach. The set up was perfect for husband & I who had our own room/balcony - and the kids were on the opposite side of the condo. Carolina Beach was great. The view from the balcony was so relaxing. If we weren't on the beach, or riding bikes, we were sitting on the balcony staring at the ocean. We were within walking distance to all of the action (boardwalk; nightlife; fishing pier). Great family town / great family condo.

Amazing

we had the most wonderful time here! The place was impeccable, and comfortable!!!! The view was awesome, pool was nice and clean and we can't wait to come back. We had three little kids under 5 and it was just perfect for us!! Close to the boardwalk and lots of restaurants! We could walk everywhere! The best was that one morning we were standing on the deck and looked out and saw dolphins swimming off the coast!!!!! We can't wait to return!!!!!!

We had a great time at the condo in Carolina Beach. Easy access to beach and swimming pool. Nice balcony/porch -- very spacious-- with access from living room and master bedroom. Great view of ocean and pool. Nice big table in dining area to accomodate everyone. Nice to have cable tv in all bedrooms and living room. Disappointed that free wi-fi not available. Other than the wi-fi, the condo had everything we needed.

Six of us came in early September and had a blast! It was just us girls! Plan to come again next year.

We love coming here in August every year! So many thngs to do in the area. We like visiting Southport -- the ferry ride is fun for us and the kids. The Christmas Shop is one of the favorites. (Hyattsville, MD)
