Description of the Carolina Beach vacation condo rental
November 8 through March 6, $675, March 7 through May 23, $850, May 24 through August 14, $1050 and August 15 through November 8, $850. Shorter rental terms available.
Area Information
Just a short drive south are Fort Fisher Civil War Museum and breastworks, the NC Aquarium, and the Ferry to Southport and Bald Head Island. Or, about one mile to the north is the center of Carolina Beach with its boardwalk which includes arcade games, Britts doughnuts, a number of good restaurants, and the waterfront docks which offer fishing excursions ranging from charters to large boat cruises for dinner and dancing, and deep sea fishing.
Twenty minutes north is Wilmington with its bustling riverfront, Battleship USS North Carolina, shopping, movies, and theater.

horrible weather didn't stop a great vacation

When we walked in the place was immaculate, it was cozy and spacious and we did not feel cramped at all. the only thing bad about our trip was that it rained some every day we were there. I loved that it was so close to the beach and you didn't have to cross any roads. I was originally worried about it being on a beach access with all the traffic but it turned out to be great as there was very little traffic. Also there was a party going on next door when we arrived, yet we heard nothing through the walls. Everything was wonderful and the owners as well as the next door neighbors were great. I will come back and stay again and again.

New Year's at the Beach

My partner and our little dog spent 3 nights in this condo. It was during the New Year's Eve holiday time. We cooked ourselves up a great dinner in the well equipped kitchen, then watched TV and at midnight there was a fireworks show over the ocean at Kure beach pier. The condo worked out so well for us..very clean and nicely laid out...lots of windows (ocean view is available from the deck outside the living room). It is a very short walk to the walkway which brings you right to the beach. We appreciated being able to bring our little dog along too. The owners Jay and Bill are super nice and very responsive with emails. Bill met us upon arrival and showed us around. We also appreciated their approval for an earlier check in. We would definitely recommend this condo and hope we can return later this year. One more thing...we appreciated the availability of recycle bins downstairs-

Very close to Beach

Condo is very close to beach. I could walk barefoot to the beach without much problem. This condo is not right on the beach, so the view of the beach isn't the greatest, although you can see the beach from the porch. The condo is nice and has beautiful hand made pottery and other art work on display. It would be a great place for any family to stay.

Beach was great, lots of space in unit for 6 of us, place was very clean and convenient to beach although it is a back unit, not right on beach. Owners were very friendly, sent deposit check back immediately. Would definately go back another time.

We spent a week here to celebrate our son's wedding. The wedding was located at nearby Fort Fisher on the beach and was absolutely beautiful. One day we went to Wilmington and shopped downtown, there was so much to do and see! Another day we took the Fort Fisher ferry to Southport, you can spend hours in the shops and antique stores and the ferry ride was scenic and fun (bring bread for the seagulls). The condo was spacious and clean and the beach access right outside was a lifesaver. Trying to cart beach supplies for 8 people would have been almost impossible otherwise, especially with two sets of grandparents. The washer and dryer and wi-fi were appreciated as well! We loved sitting on the balcony watching people walk down the street on one side and the ocean on the other. If this condo is available I highly recommend this rental, the owners are local, friendly and only a phone call away if you need anything.

Bill and Jay have a very clean and attractive condo in a fourplex. The kitchen is well equipped compared to many rentals with plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. There is a bit of a view of the ocean but you're a minute walk from the beach. The condo is pet-friendly and the charge is only $15 per night for your pet. The location is great, and you're minutes from the activity in town without having the noise. Plus Fort Fisher is a short ride away. A very good choice for pet owners who would like a clean and full-furnished condo right by the beach.

Beautiful Condo

Me, my daughter, her friend and our two pups stayed at the condo for New Years from December 31, 2010 through January 3, 2011. The condo is beautiful, steps away from the beach and it has all the amenities of home, a fully stocked kitchen, TV’s in 2 bedrooms and living room, all the beach amenities one needs for a fun day at the beach and a nice charcoal grill. The owners are the nicest people, they waived the charge for a foster pup we brought with us which I find praiseworthy. We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here with my husband and four daughters for a week. It is very well taken care of and roomy for 6 people and our scotty. We loved the fenced in backyard and pool and the closeness of the ocean. We will definitely stay here next year. Thanks for the beautiful accommodations and the great neighbors too.

This was my sons first trip to the beach. The condo was in a great location. We had easy access to the beach and walking distance to shop and eat. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The beach was not crowded and the water was warm. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We had a great time.

Better Than Advertised - Will Rent Again

The owner was so nice & welcomed us with a bottle of champagne since it was our anniversary. The condo was just lovely, quite clean and much larger than the photos show. Nice covered furnished outer deck with ocean view. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans, utensils, etc. Lots of closet space, a full size washer & dryer, and the utility closet had everything you'd need to tidy up the condo before checking out. The walkway onto the beach is literally right next to the 4-plex - very short walk to the water, which is great when your hands are full with a beach bag & lounge chair. The unit is far enough from the Boardwalk that you're not bothered by noise all hours of the day & night, but close enough to ride a bike there if you're craving a donut from Britt's. This was my first visit to the condo, but it's now my go-to beach rental. Great amenities for the price & the owners could not be more kind.
