Description of the Carolina Beach vacation condo rental

** $100 OFF WEEKLY RATE FEBRUARY, MARCH, & APRIL ** This beautiful Oceanfront 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, duplex condo sleeps 11. Beach access is literally just steps from the door. Panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. Queen beds in 3 of the bedrooms, 2 twin beds in one bedroom, a double sofabed in living room, and twin sofa chair in top floor queen bedroom. Each bedroom has attached private full bath. Covered parking for two cars, free parking across the street. Fully equipped kitchen, central heat & air, washer & dryer, 2 microwaves, wetbar and mini fridge in living room, WiFi, color TVs with cable in living room, dining room, all 4 bedrooms, plus 2 DVD players. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and living areas. Covered decks on first two levels, open deck on 3rd level, outdoor shower.

Area Information

We are located just two blocks south of the Marriot and the center of Carolina Beach with its boardwalk, arcades, rides, games, and of course our world-famous Britt's Donuts! There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance, or just a short ride. The waterfront docks offer fishing excursions, charter and cruise boats for dinner & dancing, or deep sea fishing. The north end of Carolina Beach and Kure Beach both offer fishing piers with low daily rates. The Lake Park, just a short block away, offers paddle boating, playground, family movie night, and farmer's market. Minutes to the south is the NC Aquarium, Fort Fisher Civil War Museum, and the Ferry to Historic Southport. Historic Downtown Wilmington is 20 minutes north, with its bustling riverfront, USS North Carolina Battleship, shopping, casual & fine dining, walking & riding tours, and Thalian Hall for the Performing Arts. There are a number of feature films and TV productions being produced here, you might just find yourself in a movie!

Carolina Beach Vaca 2012

Our first experience with Vacation Home Rentals was a good one. We were able to check in early which was great when you are traveling with kids. The cottage was nice, well kept and the access to the beach was fantastic. There is so much to do in Carolina Beach and the location of the cottage made it easy to enjoy everthing. Thanks Vacation Home Rentals for an awesome beach vacation.

Great vacation getaway

October 11, 2011

We enjoyed our family weekend in October 2011. Eleven of us were comfortable in this first class property. The furnishings were beautiful and everything was nicely decorated. The kitchen completely met our needs and the private bathrooms for each bedroom as well as TV's in each bedroom were certainly a plus. The location is great, and there was plenty of parking. I highly recomment this property.

The house was beautifully decorated with great views of the ocean. Tvs in every bedroom and living room were very nice, and the games in the cabinet came in handy for a rainy day. The outside shower was very handy and helped keep sand out of the house. The only things not perfect were minor such as the dryer took usually 2 cycles to dry clothing and towels (even when only a couple of items were being dried), the knives available were a little dull making it difficult to slice tomatoes, and the top floor door to the balcony had to be locked to stay close so anytime we used the top deck we had to prop a chair against the door to keep it closed and the bugs out. We had a great visit and would definately consider the peach house again. Thanks for a great vacation!

Wonderful Week

The house is much nicer than the photos can detail. We enjoyed it immensely. The kitchen was extremely well furnished. There was a lot of room in the living area and the rooms were large and comfortable. We could not have asked for a more wonderful home.
