We have been statying in this property for the last 2 years and we have pick it as our family vacation destination, with 1 child and 1 dog this is the perfect space, close by all this amazing restaurants and to the beach, as always Diane is a great host and we will keep coming back! Already plannig the one for September =)

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This Was The Perfect "little" Getaway. We Felt Like We Were In Our Own Home With The Exception Of The Water Being In Our Back Yard. Not Only Was This Beach House Located In A Very Convienent Spot, It Was Furnished With Every Ammenity You Could Want , Need, Or Ask For. Everything From Linens, To Dishes, And Even Tioletres. It Was Spectacular!!!!! We Had Such A Comfortable Stay We Didn't Want To Leave, And Of Course The Vacation Was To Short. The Ocean Was A Nice Short Walk From The House And Upon Retuning , We Could Rinse Off Outside On The Patio Provided And Sit And Enjoy A Glass Of Wine While Dinner Was Being Made Along With It Being Our Favorite Moening Coffee Spot. I Would Highly Recoommend This Cute, Quaint, And Very Homey Beach House To Anyone Looking For Charm, Quietness, And An Relaxing Atmosphere. Diane And Bobby Are Wonderful And Proud Owners To Say The Least. They Know How To Make A Vacation Worry Free And Pleasant. This Place Was A "gem'. Thank You Diane Most Of All For Allowing Us To Take Our Furry Friend Along On Vacation With Us. "thor" Was In Heaven.

What A Quaint House 2 Bedrooms Decorated Very Nice Just Two Short Blocks To The Ocean, The Owner Diane Was A Pleasure To Deal With, Even With A Few Last Minute Changes, She Was Very Accomadating, Would Stay Their Again On Our Next Trip Whole Experience Was Wonderful Loved That It Was Pet Friendly Our Dog Felt Right At Home And He Loved The Walk To The Ocean, Temperature Wasnt Very Warm But It Was Sunny For The Beginning Of March, Would Also Highly Recommend To My Family And Friends. Thanks Again Diane For A Wonderful Stay At A Great Price It Had All The Comforts Of Home.

The Perfect Place

This place was perfect size for our family of 4 plus our fur kid! Very clean and smelled wonderfully when we arrived. Its on a quite dead end road and only two short blocks to the ocean. There's an outside shower and water hose, we used them everyday after coming back from the beach. Also a few places to eat within walking distance.

Love at first sight

It was love at first sight when I saw the inside of this cozy little apartment! I felt like home which was important to me since my stay was for a whole month. A whole 4 weeks at the beach....bucket list now has a scratch off. This property is very convenient to the beach, located on a very quiet street and is a great place to walk your dog. The inside is decorated simply but in very good taste. Diane, the owner is very sweet and attentive to any issues, which were very few, that you might encounter. My only request for next year is that Bobby "finish" the outside shower!

What a wonderful vacation. Two blocks from the beach, comfortable accommodations with good beds, fully equipped kitchen, spacious LR with television and DVDs, second floor sitting porch and air conditioning. Great restaurants nearby and Tiki-Bar on the beach. Owners were available and wonderful people. We will return!!

Perfect for a Couple and a dog

I wanted a walkable dog-friendly place in the town area of Carolina Beach and this place fit the bill. I could walk my dog in the neighborhood and to lots of restaurants. The apartment was small but very clean and there is a bonus walk in closet so you are not always stumbling over your suitcases or travel gear and in our case, fishing equipment that we did not want to leave in the vehicle. We loved our stay and will go back again.

Lovely house, great location

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this beach house, and the 3rd time we have booked with the owners. Once again we had a great time. The house is cute and clean and is about to be remodeled inside which will make it even better than it already is! The location is great, less than a 2 minute stroll to the beach and our favorite place on Carolina Beach, the Ocean Grill & Tiki Bar! Bobby and Diane are great people to deal with and I would recommend this house, along with their other property, 'The Cottage,' to anybody.

Cute retro house, quiet residential area

Cute 2nd story flat, 800 sf or so, very clean, with ceiling fans in all rooms so you can definitely open the windows for fresh air. We had a great time! Convenient to dining and shopping. If you don't have dogs, public beach access is within walking distance. If you have dogs, beach access at Ft Fisher is about 15 min drive straight down the main drag. The owner plans to renovate this year. Floors are pergo, so easy to clean up the beach sand. Very quiet residential neighborhood. Definitely recommended! We're thinking about going back sometime.

Old Time Beach House

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were just a few short blocks from the beach and just a quick drive to Freeman Park. I brought my dog and she absolutely loved playing in the sand and surf. Everything was very close. So much to do and so little time. The home was very cozy and included everything we needed. The only complaint would be that I assisted with making the bed upon check-in and I would have expected a call to make sure everything was acceptable. The only time we heard from the owner was regarding an outside light that we accidentally left turned on.

This is a perfect place for a small family. Two blocks to the beach access right next to Tiki bar and pier. The pictures don't do it justice - it is really clean and in a nice neighborhood.
