Description of the Carpinteria vacation condo rental
Great for anyone wanting to enjoy beach living! This sun-filled, furnished 1 bedroom 1 bath condo is an upstairs unit overlooking the tropical greenery of a very well maintained complex. Pergo floors are in the living, dinning and kitchen area, with ceramic tile in the bathroom and carpet in the bedroom. The kitchen is filled with all the essential things needed to operate. The dinning area has a table that sits 4 with additional seating at the bar. The bedroom has a queen size bed and wicker furniture with plenty of drawers and storage. Towels, pillows and blankets are there if needed. For additional sleeping (2), there is a sleeper sofa or queen size inflatable mattress. There is a 42" Flat Screen TV w/cable, DVD & WiFi Internet access. The dinning area and bedroom have ceiling fans for the warm summer days. The complex has a heated pool, outside sand shower, gas barbeques, picnic tables and chairs, bike rack, a very clean laundry room, and covered parking on the grounds. The complex is steps to the sand with a short stroll for shopping, dining, and the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Station. NONE SMOKING and NO pets unit.
Area Information
This quaint town of Carpinteria has its own variety of antique shops, boutiques, and cafes all with a Central California Coast beach flair.
Take a leisurely stroll to town to enjoy breakfast at the Cajun Kitchen, lunch at The Spot for a famous burger or a micro-brew at Island Brewing Company. Other restaurants include, steak houses; Clementine’s, Sly’s or The Palms where you can prepare your own steak, enjoy an endless salad bar, baked potato & beans. There are also Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and some fabulous Breakfast spots. And, not to forget…Mc Donald’s, Subway, Taco Bell, and Foster’s. About dessert, stop at Robitaille's for some candy. There are grocery and drug stores also within walking distance.
Drive or take the train just 10 minutes up the coast to Santa Barbara to visit the Zoo, dinner on the pier, or shopping on State Street. Continue another thirty minutes or so north of Santa Barbara to the Santa Ynez Valley and enjoy a wine tour or try your luck at the Chumash Casino or enjoy a bit of Scandinavia in the Danish town of Solvang.
20 minutes south of Carpinteria is historic Ventura. There you can enjoy fishing, scuba diving, boating or even whale watching excursions.
Los Angeles and Santa Monica are just over an hour away where you can enjoy the Getty Center, Disney Concert Hall, MOCA, Hollywood Bowl, Staples Center, Universal Studios and City Walk or the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica.
