The Casa Sofïa was restored at the end of 2007. The original colonial
walls with brick and coral were carefully preserved. We seek to
provide the comfort of your own home while enjoying the Old City.

This beautiful lodging has three air-conditioned bedrooms (one with a
King-sized bed,
one with a Queen-sized bed, and the third with two twin beds, two
twins also available in front salon to sleep a total of 8 people) and
a gourmet, open-air
kitchen located next to the central patio and pool under a colonial
archway. The kitchen has a six-burner gas stove and all necessary
appliances (including a microwave) necessary to prepare your favorite
recipes. The services of a professional cook are also available upon
request. The kitchen contains stools and a central table and a small
bar. There are three bathrooms which all have hot and cold running
water; the bathroom of the main bedroom contains an open-air shower
tiled with beautiful sky and sea-colored glass tiles.

You can relax in the living room with lovely Cathedral ceilings on a
down-feathered sofa which can also serve as an additional bed. The
dining room has a colonial dining room table that can seat 8 that is
situated next to the swimming pool and a hammock.

From the rooftop deck you can see the dome of the Cathedral, La Popa
and parrots which come each morning and evening to sit in a nearby tree..Wireless internet connectivity throughout the house.

The 400-year-old stone walls encircling the city are surprisingly intact and stretch for more than two miles. Walk west along the wide plaza on top of the wall; the Caribbean is on your right, and the lovingly restored medieval streets on your left.

given that it is the location of the birth of the Independence just
steps from Casa Sofia in 1811. Currently, the Convention Center Julio
