Description of the Carters Lake vacation cabin rental

"FALL SPECIAL" STAY 2 NIGHTS AND GET A 3RD NIGHT FREE! (Ends Dec 21st.) Come and see the wonderful fall colors or spend Christmas/New Year in the mountains. Sit by the warm cozy gas log fireplace and enjoy some hot chocolate or relax on the back deck..watch out for the many wild life such as the whitetail Deer and flying wild turkey. This BEAUTIFUL NEW CABIN is located inside the mountain resort known as The Taking Rock Creek. The resort has much to offer for all age groups. It's Only a short drive to Carter's lake and the lovely towns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Spectacular long range mountain views can be seen from the huge covered back deck and the sunsets are spectacular!. There are two very large on-suite master bedrooms with a whirlpool tub, walk in showers and marble vanities. A large spacious open loft with a "Amish made" day bed, office/reading area,desk and a printer. FREE unlimited nationwide calling, FREE DSL (bring your laptop,Satellite TV, large flat screens. The kitchen is fantastic with stainless steel appliances and cookware and it also has a breakfast bar/island. A laundry closet with washer and dryer. Oak floors and a lovely dinning area with Amish made dinning table and chairs. This upscale cabin with its beautiful furniture and furnishings make this the pefect place to come and unwind.

French doors lead you out onto the 40ft covered deck and the panoramic long range views of the Appalachian mountains are something else!!. It has porch swings, rocking chairs and a BBQ gas grill for those cookouts.

The cabin sits on nearly 2 wooded acres and has an outside firepit... great for toasting those mallows!

A majority of the resort remains undeveloped with thousands of acres of unspoiled woodlands and trails...providing seclusion and privacy to the lovely cabins that inhabit this natural beauty. Deer and other wildlife can be seen here.

The main entrance to The Talking Rock Creek Resort sits directly across from the Carter's Lake Reservoir. Carter's Lake boasts, a marina,fishing,boating, beach,biking,hiking trails etc...along with a host of other outdoor activities

The Talking Rock Creek Resort offers,swimming pools,tennis and basket ball courts, gym, club house,a park for the kid's, BBQ grills,fishing,hiking trails, a trout lodge where you can fish,tube,canoe,Raft (bring your own gear)or just sit and relax at the creek and enjoy a picnic....at the creek some of the rock faces reach as high as 100 feet. Bring your boat...there's a place to park it at the resort so you don't have to tow it up and down the mountain... enjoy time on the water at nearby Carter's Lake.

The towns of Ellijay (explore the Historic downtown area), Blue Ridge and Cherry Log are within a short drive offering plenty of shopping and sight seeing.

White water rafting,Fishing, horseback riding etc...are all only a short drive away and so are the state parks...there is lots for the family to do!!! Also local restaurants/gas stations are nearby. Walmart,Starbucks,Longhorn steakhouse,Mexican restaurants....all within easy driving distance!!!! Come and visit one of the many Apple Orchards and taste the homemade Apple cider and preserves and try the fried homemade Apple pies...you will want to take some back home!!!!

The cabin is situated inside the resort and the resort amenities are just a couple of mins drive through the resort. The cabin is on a 1.87 acre wooded lot and has 2 driveways enough for plenty of vehicles/trucks. Plenty of room to ride your ATV's and roam around outside. There is an outside firepit for roasting mallows and to sit and relax. All distances listed above are approx but everything is within easy reach. Cabin is situated a 2 min drive from the back gate which is via Apple Rd and 411 off of 1-75. Being so close to the back gate allows for seeing a beautiful lake located to the right as you come through the back gate, no need to snake all through the resort at night to get to your cabin!!!!...you can spend the afternoon there enjoying the water...bring a chair and also enjoy a cookout!
