Description of the Cascade vacation b&b rental

Lodge style bed and breakfast home in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. With 1200 square feet of your own private space, on 1/2 acred treed lot and beautiful Fountain Creek running through our property. Private entrance. Perfect for honeymoons,family vacations,get-away weekends, or romantic retreats.

Cascade Mountain Lodge is located 6 miles west of Colorado Springs in Cascade, Colorado. We are 1.5 miles to the entrance of the famous Pikes Peak toll road, and 5 miles away from Historical Manitou Springs. Cascade is a beautiful small mountain community, close enough to the big city for anything that you might need, and yet far enough away to relax from everything.

 What a fantastic week we had!, October 29, 2007

The Cascade Mountain Lodge was perfect for our family. We were nervous about renting a place without seeing it in person, but our concerns turned out to be groundless. The property is just beautiful and perfect for a couple of kids to explore. Best of all, we were so close to EVERYTHING! We could go sightseeing for the morning, run back home for lunch or a quick nap, and then back out for more activities. The innkeepers were also very helpful and friendly. It could have been disastrous, considering they were called out-of-state with a family emergency. We thought that our stay would be ruined with no one there to take check on supplies, etc., but the innkeepers checked in frequently and made sure that we had everything we needed. By the way, the lodge is really comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and a cozy fire or a soak in the hot tub were perfect ways to finish off an evening! Thanks for a vacation we'll always remember.
