Area Description

Cascade Locks in the heart of what's happening in the Columbia River Gorge. The Gorge stretches about 90 miles in length across the many Cascade Range Volcanoes. It is encompassed by such famous volcanoes as Mt. Adams, towering at 12,276', Mt. St. Helens at 8,364' and Oregon's tallest volcano, Mt. Hood at 11,239'.

Enjoy a leisurely cruise aboard the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler, explore a local museum, enjoy local wine tasting, discover the interpretive sites of Lewis and Clark, view the spring wildflowers or take a drive along the Columbia Gorge Scenic Highway and explore the many waterfalls, including the spectacular Multnomah Falls.
