In the Tuscan-Umbrian countryside, at a few Km. from the A1 Florence-Rome Exit at Chiusi, Villa Arcaia is a refined and welcoming self-catering home that can host up to 28 people. It includes 4 apartments: Bellosguardo, Il Patio and Le Logge and Il Capanno.
Bellosguardo, the main appartment that can host up to 12 people, shifts guests into a 1960's dolce-vita style with its elegant furnishings even though all of today's comforts have been meticuluously added. A three-floor appartment, Bellosguardo has the dining room, the living room and kitchen, all of which access a wide panoramic terrace, on the ground floor. The sleeping rooms (2 suites and a double bedroom are located on the 2nd and 3rd floor). A multi-functional hall completes Bellosguardo (underneath the terrace).
The Patio and the Logge are two appartments in one of the Buccheri, former Tuscan farmer homes. Along with Il Capanno, the other smaller unit a few steps away, have been refurbished with all modern comfort while keeping the charm of the typical Tuscan country style: wooden beams, terracotta tiles and so on. Respectively, Il Patio and Le Logge can host up to 6 and 8 people, whereas Il Capanno is for 2.
Amidst the enchanting Tuscan-Umbrian countryside, guests staying at Villa Arcaia can enjoy time by the swimming pool, ready for adults and children, stroll through its luscious-green park of cypress trees and olive groves, or simply relax on one of its several terraces.
Villa Arcaia is highly flexible so that it can meet its guests' various needs. As a structure, it is an exceptional place where to hold social parties ( anniversaries, family reunions, weddings, and so on) or business related activities (meetings, stages and so on). Area Description
At 7 km from Chiusi, Villa Arcaia is an ideal place for a "home away from home" stay from where the main cities of artistic interest such as Florence, Siena, Perugia and Rome can easily be reached.
In its immediate surroundings, there are quite a few suggestive although lesser-known jewels of Italian culture. Places in Tuscany such as Cortona, the Val d'Orcia with its small enchanting hamplets (Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Montalcino, home of the Brunello wine, Bagni San Filippo, S. Quirico d'Orcia and so on). Or, places in Umbria like the 11th century Castiglione del Lago and its small islands, or Città della Pieve, or in-between these two, small sleepy-hamlets where time has stood still in its hand-cut stone walls like Paciano (listed amongst Italy's ideal hamlets), Magione, Passignano and Tuoro.
