This newly remodeled 1928 home has a fully equipted kitchen & features a steamy hot tub, with walks on the beach, fishing, or watching the ships pass by, this truly is a relaxing getaway from the day to day!
For a more adventuresome time you can launch your kayaks from the house & explore the many inlets the Island has to offer with an abundance of wildlife or you can drive 4 miles east of Cathlamet for windsurfing on the mighty Columbia. Whatever you choose to enjoy, this nearly untouched part of Washington is a treat!
Puget Island is just south of Cathlamet located between Longview & Astoria. Cathlamet is filled with historical charm, wonderful eateries & unique shops all within walking distance of the full servcie Elcohoman Marina. Visit Buffington Park & take a ride on the famous Wahkiakum Ferry to Oregon, the last passenger ferry on the lower Columbia. Hansen Wildlife Refuge is just west of Cathlamet where eagles, heron, swans, otter, elk & whitetail deer live in this 5,600 acre refuge. Kayaks & canoes can be rented at Skamokawa Town Center.
