Description of the Cavendish vacation home rental

This newly constructed 4.5 Star vacation property rests atop a gorgeous bluff in Stanley Bridge overlooking the winding Trout River. Welton Hill has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open concept living, dining and kitchen area that has an amazing view of the river and rolling hillside. Whether you choose to relax by the propane fireplace or enjoy a favorite movie on the large LCD television, Welton Hill's living areas will easily provide all the comforts of a home away from home. The waterfront kitchen and dining area with grand floor to ceiling windows have a wonderful calming effect as you go about preparing your favorite vacation meals.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bath while the second and third bedrooms both have queen beds. A spacious full bath with double sinks is also available just outside the second and third bedrooms.

The additional areas on the main level include a second family room, full bath and laundry area and a spacious deck (accessible from the living room). Welton Hill provides a well appointed kitchen, bedding, towels, DVD player, satellite television and a stereo.

Area Description

Miles and miles of sandy beaches link along the North Shore of PEI to create a pristine vacation environment. Luckily, Welton Hill is located conveniently close to the North Shore oasis, yet far enough away for you to enjoy your 'own little place' on the Island.

The allure of this area is endless. The water sport activities are an adventure, the fine and casual dining is hard to beat and the artisan shops are everywhere. And don't forget the lobster suppers, a can't-miss PEI experience.

Be sure to pack your golf clubs, since the North Shore in Anne's Land is proud to boast more than 11 courses located within a 20-minute drive. For more family oriented fun there is the new Shining Waters Family Fun Park, the Sandspit Amusement Park and the new sprawling federal Eco-Park (on the old Rainbow Valley property).

The North Shore is known as an area of great scenic beauty.
