Simple Pleasures: Sun, Snorkel, & Privacy Galore

Simple Pleasures is a one story, one king bedroom attached condo situated directly on the beach on the northern coast of Grand Cayman, near Rum Point. We are one of only 16 units in this very private, peaceful community called the Sea Lodges of Cayman Kai. Beautiful views of the turquoise ocean and gentle cooling breezes are present from every room and the 2 generous screen porches. We intentionally keep the cottage simple, minimizing distractions of television and video games so that our guests can truly enjoy the beautiful and restful qualities that abound in our area of Cayman. There is not a lot of night life on our side of the island, but the beautiful sky puts on a spectacular show every night. Simple Pleasures has a fully equipped kitchen, with an electric stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and blender. Chaise lounges are provided as well as basic snorkel fins and tubes, and 2 bicycles. Wireless internet is available and local Cayman telephone calls are free.

Simple Pleasures is a short walk, either by road or by beach, to the Retreat at Rum Point, a resort with a true local flair. The Wreck Bar serves refreshing drinks and local recipes along with great burgers, fries, and other familiar eats. Diving tours, kayaking, and Sting Ray City tours can be found at Rum Point through Red Sails Sports Dive Shop. Fine Dining is also available at Rum Point and the Kaibo Yacht Club, a mile further down the road. For nature lovers the Queen Elizabeth Botanical Garden is a fantastic day trip.

The real attraction, however, is the white sand beach and the beautiful water. The Sea Lodges of Cayman Kai are fortunate to have a protective reef, so the water is relatively calm most of the time. Snorkeling right out the door is fantastic, and many times the beach is completely yours.
