Description of the Cayucos vacation home rental

The Ranch house is a great big wonderful home with decks rambling all around it, taking in the views of the private valley and the surrounding hillsides. It is very comfortable for big and small groups alike. Lots of areas to come together and lots of lofts and spots for quiet space. Fully equipped kitchen with a New 5 burner gas cook top and new extra large double electric ovens. All linens and towels provided. Out door Oak Bbq(wood included) for the best bbqing you will ever do.
Hens willing, there will be fresh eggs in the refrigerator. Freshly picked lemons, limes, avocados and oranges (if they are still hanging on the trees) will be in the fruit bowl. Fresh herbs out the kitchen door.
And if your timing is right vegetables in the garden.
There is also a fabulous hand crafted fire pit to gather around under the stars ...and have s'mores or just visit.
You will be amazed at the bird watching whether from the decks or the ridge top. Golden Eagles nest above the house.
It is a beautiful 1 mile walk to the fishing pond where the kayaks will be waiting for you.
Family and friend gatherings and retreats of all kinds seem to be our niche. Just over the hill is premier wine tasting. Just down the road beautiful Estero Bay, up the coast Hearst Castle and further on Big Sur.
The ranch has been open to guests since 1999. We are honored to have wonderful return guests who have made Cottontail Creek Ranch their yearly tradition.

Our 2009 rates (subject to change) based on a 10 guest visit are as follows:
Summer
June-Sept Weekly $6250.00
slmss(last minute summer) $1195/night/
July 4th week, $6450.00

Fall and Spring September 5-June 9
Weekly $6250.00.(includes a midweek light cleaning of baths and kitchen)
3 nights $1095
2 night $1195/night
Holiday $1195/night (3-7 nights)
Holiday Weekly $6450.00 (includes a midweek light cleaning of baths and kitchen)

+ 11% (9% county bed tax & 2% tax deductitble conservation fund donation) + a fully refundable $700 security/cleaning deposit. All rates are based on a 10 guest visit(extra guest charge of $35/guest/night with a max. of 20 guests. Children are counted as guests.

Laundry room is an extra sleeping area w/a twin bed and a bathroom around the corner
The a detached Play room "Casita" can be used as extra sleeping area with a double futon /retreat/conference/ ping pong/game room plus weights and elliptical running machine

We also have a pack 'n' play and high chair.

Full maid service available upon request ($15/hr, 2 hr. min
Baby sitting available upon request
Gourmet Chef, Personal Trainer, and Massage Therapist available upon advance notice.

The California Central Coast is still pristine with its rolling hills and small towns. From beautiful coastline, tidepools and small towns to the Paso Robles Wine Region and the Edna Valley Wine Region of San Luis Obispo. Wine tasting is as close as 15 minutes... Hearst Castle is a beautiful and short 45 minutes up Highway 1. Big Sur is just another 15 minutes.

We had our ladies retreat here. It was absolutely indescribable. The Lyons are the ultimate host and hostess leaving eggs, oranges, avocados, fresh vegetables, fresh flowers in each room, and giving us a tour of the ranch. We hope to return; we did not have enough time to explore all the property had to offer. Definitely a place we want to return to again and again.
