Area Description
The archipelago of the Philippines ranks among the paradises of this earth and Bantayan Island belongs to the most originally islands of this region.
Crystal-clear water, almost untouched sand beaches and the relaxed way of living of the inhabitants mint this tropical island.
You find Bantayan Island in the northwest of the province Cebu.
Bantayan Island is a beautiful, small island with many objects of interest, like the market, the curch from 15. century and the many caves, which are distributed all over the island.
The largest town of the island is the city of Bayantan with approximately 60.000 inhabitants.
Somewhat more in the south, in Santa Fe, the ferry-boats are landing particulary. Along the south coast there are wunderful beaches.
