The condo as well as the view was fantastic. We will stay here again. We saw dolphin from the balcony, lauched the kayaks from the doc, the dogs went swimming. Great place.

Great get away

We spent a long weekend in Cedar Key,Florida. We enjoyed our stay at Serenity. Very comfortable and relaxing. We used the charcole grill provded on ground level to grill our fresh caught grouper, yellow peppers and fresh mango one evening. Very enjoyable stay.

I am newer to Florida and have decided to explore my new state more this year and Cedar Key was recommended by someone at work. This condo and the customer service is impeccable. The response was prompt and the follow up from the owner, with the comprehensive information package and great attention to detail regarding where and how to do anything was perfection. Now, the best part--this place is truly "serenity" and most uniquely feels like your home while you are there. They have thought of everything you could possible need. I cannot wait to stay again and bring family and friends with me. Then, there is Cedar Key, itself-wow! The weekend I was there, full moon, no wind, the gulf as smooth as glass. Warm days and cool nights---kayaking with the dolphins--pure magic. The hot tub is great on the property as well. My most memorable event is this: The stillness and peace. While on the balcony just 'being' a flock of birds flew across the water behind the condo and I could hear the wind from their wings against the water.

First and foremost, the view is spectacular! It is by far the best we've ever seen. Walking east to the picnic bench to view the sun rise was a super start to our day.
Tony's, The Island Hotel, The Island Room - what great restaurants!! We met Otis, thee "Black Dog!" He and our labradoodle got along pretty well! Sitting in the bar room at the Island Hotel, we met and talked with several "locals" including the people from the Cedar Key Pottery We had just bought a piece of their pottery that very afternoon!
Golfing, art classes, boat rides, walking and pool visits filled our days. The pool and jacuzzi are so clean. We should have brought our kayaks for this is the best place for that.
Southern Cross Sea Farms allowed us to prepare great meals at home. We appreciate the kitchen's nice cookware and "real" glass glasses!
The couch is very comfy. The bath towels almost spa-like. The hairdryer worked very well. While there were only two of us, we didn't use the upstairs. But we did take a peak and thought it was set up so efficiently.
We liked the sights and sounds of all of the birds, but it was Nemo, or dog, who got the biggest kick out of them. For the first time, we saw the american White Pelicans...how beautiful! They looked llike swans from a distance. Captain Doug did a fine job on his cruise.
It's been a great month. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!

The beauty at Serenity is spectacular
! A fabulous getaway. Thank you so very much - will definitely be back!
Our second stay in Serenity and it was as great as our first two years ago!!
Went out into the Gulf once and had possibly the best fishing day ever! Should've read Cindy's encounter (May 12) before, however. Marc got the same welcome from a sea catfish and ow, it did hurt.
The day was not diminished however, as the kids caught sea trout, catfish, grunts, mackeral, bonnethead sharks (one was about 2 1/2 feet long!) and our oldest son Joeyu (15) caught a Southern Stingray that was huge! After keeping him on the line for about 10 minutes, the stingray broke the line and got away, but the experience will never be forgotten!
We love staying in Serenity, a little slice of Heaven, and hope to return again the people of Cedar Key are wonderful, too, very welcoming and genuinely happy to see ya! Thank you for sharing your home!
