The phenomenal Mystic Dunes Resort and Golf Club opened its greens summer of 2001 and is located just 2 miles south of the Walt Disney World Resort on Old Lake Wilson Road/CR545.

The course was designed by Champions Tour professional and NBC golf analyst, Gary Koch. Challenging yet fun, this course consists of two distinctly different layouts that take advantage of the unique topography, offering the golfer a fantastic and memorable experience.

When you open an 18-hole championship golf course in one of the hottest meeting and tourist destinations in the world, you've got to be prepared to meet the masses. Mystic Dunes Resort and Golf Club is easily accessible, located just 10 minutes from the attractions area, the Orlando Orange County Convention Center, and the International Drive tourist district.

The centerpiece of this resort is Mystic Dunes, an 18-hole, Gary Koch-designed golf course with putting green, driving range, golf instruction, and clubhouse.

Splash away or simply relax at one of four inviting resort pools, including the newly expanded Dunes Lagoon, a two-acre recreation area featuring a two-story water slide anchored by a 30-foot tall rock wall overlooking a massive 148,000 gallon pool, plus over 17,000 square feet of deck space, ten private cabanas, a sandy beach play area, and a sport court.

Other on-site recreational options include three lighted tennis courts, a children 's playground, basketball court, arcade room with a Ping-Pong table, an 18-hole miniature golf course, and bicycle rentals.

Caddyshack Bar and Grill - Lunch and dinner menus include sandwiches, salads, and burgers. Open early morning until late evening.

Pizza Express - Located on resort property. Guests can choose stand-up dining or in-room pizza delivery. Noon to late evening.

From the time we checked in the receptionist was fantastic, she spent several minutes checking the availability of rooms as we had decided to extend our stay by an extra day and the only way we could remain in the same location was to upgrade us to a two bedroom villa which was fantastic. Great facilities in the room and a wonderful view from the patio area and just across from one of the swimming pools, which I must say was immaculate in presentation and towels provided throughout the day. The entire complex is clean and safe with perfectly manicured landscape area;s. we would not hesitate in recommending The Mystic Dunes to anyone, any age and either a couple or a family.

Nice condo, very clean. All of the other amenities were very nice as well. Nice gated community. It's too bad they don't have an elevator. We were on the third floor and it was tough to get all the bags up to the third floor. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

The size of the space was VERY impressive. It really was a condo NOT a converted hotel. 2 br room would sleep 8 easily. Very clean, nice staff, lots of pools. Close to everything. 2 draw backs: A/C in the back bedroom not quite cool enough and we could hear lots of noise from other rooms. That being said you CANNOT beat the price for the space and ammenities of this resort.

This resort was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious rooms with plenty of floor space available for a blow up mattress. The pools were warm and inviting. We had no problems with lines at check in and check out was as simple as dropping off the keys and parking pass in a box as we left the resort. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting to stay close to Disney or just as a nice place to hang out and do nothing.

Really enjoyed our time here. If you are wanting to do more then the parks with shuttles, rent a car. Accomodations were really nice, updated and spacious, pools were great, restaurant was suitable for the few meals we ate there. Very helpful staff. Would stay again.

The reviews from other folks don't give the property much credit. First of all you need to past the check-in process which is a joke!!! Our unit was 2Br/2ba in Building 22. The unit was very clean and everything was functional. The property has a very nice lagoon pool and sports courts along with a basic 18 hole mini golf. The crown jewel of the resort is the golf course!!!We did not like the push on timeshare sales, that was very obvious every day with golf carts taking would be buyers on tours...the issue is most of these folks couldn't afford to rent one of these units let alone buy one.

We arrived late & had no trouble with the late night check-in procedure. We were impressed with the the resort itself..from the fountains & gated entrance to the grounds. We stayed in a 2bdr/2 btr condo. The condo was tastefully decorated & the beds were very comfortable...The owner was very nice & easy to communicate with..Will definately consider returning for another stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mystic Dunes Resort. The property had all the amenities from swimming, tennis, ping pong, bike rentals to golf. The resort is a very nice and relaxing place to stay. The rooms are hugh with plenty of room for the family.

Mystic Dunes was great! The condo was very clean and the grounds very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Many Happy Return was prompt and nice to deal with. I would gladly stay there again and deal with Many Happy Returns!
