Description of the Centerville vacation home rental
Three large windows on the first floor give you unparalleled views of the lake from wherever you stand, sit or dine. Enjoy your 350' private sandy beach or lounge on the patio. Fully stocked kitchen, and all linens and towels for six persons including beach towels and chairs. Two bedrooms (1 King and 1 Queen) and two full baths are on the first floor. One bedroom (2 Twins)on the second floor all with down pillows and comforters and a cozy sitting area. This upstairs bedroom also has a panoramic view of the lake! Central air conditioning, computer, printer, wireless internet, cable television in living room and master bedroom, washer and dryer. Comfortably but beautifully furnished. Hardwood floors and imported ceramic tile throughout.

Amazing property

What a better way to spend quality time with friends. Our girls weekend away was the most relaxing ever. The home was everything it was described as and more. So clean and tastefully decorated. Close to everything yet far enough way to feel like you are in paradise. Looking forward to staying again. I would highly recommend renting this home. Perfect in Every Way

Cheri's house was an excellent location for myself and my wife, our 2 year old son plus my visiting parents. The weather was perfect, just that time of year when humidity is non-existent, nights are very comfortable and days good enough to swim. The lake provided plenty of amenities for all - swimming, kayaking, fishing etc. We spent most of the time relaxing lake side, enjoying the views, taking a dip in the lake or cycling around the beautiful cape. The house was spectacular, everything you need, with amazing window space to enjoy the surrounding scenery. There are a multitude of fabulous restaurants, shops etc a very short distance away, yet this location provides perfect isolation from all the hustle and bustle. It really was a great home for a couple of weeks and great memories for a life-time.

Marvelous stay in waterfront home

Our vacation at waterfront home was incredibily great. First contact with the owner and the reservation was easy and nice. The house was just at the beach and the view of the lake was outstanding. Each room was really cute and beautifully decorated. The house was really well furnished and extremely clean. In the kitchen we could find all the needed utensils. The living room was bright and cozy, very comfortable to stay long at night. And there was a lovely terrace just next to the living room and in front of the beach. Every morning coffee on the terrace was a pleasure. We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely Home on the Lake

The home was lovely, having everything we expected and more. The lay out of the rooms was perfect for my family and we really enjoyed literally having sand and the lake right at our doorstep. When we entered the house it smelled lovely and we were pleased to find board games and water toys. The one negative thing was that several items in the house were broken, but the handyman cam quickly and fixed them. We would love to return to that house again next summer.

Our family absolutely loved staying at Cheri's house. The house is beautiful, wonderfully decorated, very clean and relaxing! Having a beach right in front of the house was a luxury. We sat on the beach, relax, and swam every day. The house is close to everything -- shops, restaurants, and ice cream! Cheri provided board games and water toys -- big hit with the kids! We absolutely LOVED eating at Centerville Pie and Four Seas Ice Cream...and in just a short drive to Dennis SCARGO CAFE is to die for! This was the best vacation, and the most beautiful home we've ever been to! Thanks Cheri!

Wonderful, peaceful retreat

Our family loved our stay at Cheri's house. The house is so quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle and on the shores of a big and beautiful lake. We enjoyed the private beach and the clear water. The house is beautiful and is a perfect setting for a family getaway. The house is so close to the lake and so many rooms face it that we felt as though we were on a house boat. The house is tucked away on a lovely property which provides lots of privacy. The house is very comfortable and has every amenity you would need. We loved every moment we stayed there and look forward to more family vacations at this house.

Cheri thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable...even dog bones for our Saints! My husband and I enjoyed each day looking out at the water just feet from the house. Neither of us wanted to come home. Very relaxing for us and our Saint Bernards. Close to all the spots to sightsee if you can pull yourself away from the house! Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

A Great House for a Peaceful Getaway

Due to lack of snow in upstate Vermont, decided to go to the Cape for 4 days instead. House looked great on-line, and our experience there matched our expectation. Right on the water, incredibly peaceful and great views out over the lake through large windows in the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The house was in great condition and Cheri (the owner) was a pleasure to work with...not any complaint or issue to be had. We said to each other many times what a great house and location to have brought our four kids when they were younger, with a sandy beach that gradually deepens, so much so that we could have watched them from the beach, patio (which is literally 15 feet from the water), or inside the house (same 15 feet from the water), as they played in the water.

We have just rented this home from Cheri. We had a last minute week off. Cheri was great to deal with. We were able to work out the details easily. The home is wonderful! It is clean and well kept. All that she says is true. The lake is literally 15 yds from the home. It has a sandy bottom and is swimable. The home is private, quiet and private. Yet it is within a 5 min drive to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely recommend this rental. Cheri is truthful and had some great suggestions for us.

We stayed at the house from the end of May to the first week in June and all I can say is wow! Not only did we have a fabulous week of weather (with one day of wind and rain) but, being right on the lake was fantastic. We barely had to venture anywhere although everything is very close! It was definately worth getting up early to catch the beautiful sunrise! So relaxing and Cheri was pleasant to deal with and answered all questions I had and even gave me directions to the grocery stores and Centerville Pie which is a must! Hope to get the family back there in 2012!

We travelled from Ontario Canada and were not disappointed. This house must been seen to be really appreciated. Great view of the lake with waves lightly slapping the shore and luckily great weather. As it is mentioned in most reviews Cheri is terrific and great to deal with. No surprises and everything was up to our expectations. We would highly recommend this as a vacation home.

Perfect for our young family

The squeals of delight from our 7 year old twins and our 5 yr. old were our first impression of this lovely cottage.It is a bright clean place with a fantastic view of a quiet lake with minimal boat traffice. The proximity to so many wonderful spots is extremely convenient if you plan to travel while here. One recommendation - bring a sand umbrella or two as there is little reprieve from the sun anywhere outside the cottage. The boogie boards and sand toys were much appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen gear. The owner was so patient with all of the questions we had and quick to help us on any matter. We highly recommend this destination for your next vacation though you may be in line behind us as we plan to return.

Beautiful Rental

This is our second year renting this house. It is a beautiful property and well maintained. The owner is wonderful to deal with. It is a nice quiet lake that you can swim in boat or fish. Plus you are minutes away from the ocean. The location is great with access to all major routes, shopping etc. Best place we have rented on the Cape and we have rented many!!

I went up for a weekend with 5 of my friends and i could not of asked for anything more out of this house! It came with everything we needed! The sunset was so nice to enjoy and the lake water was so clean and calm. The hosue was well kept and very clean! I cant not wait to book again with this same hosuse!

Wonderful getaway

We rented this home to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The house was lovely and airy and had spectacular water access and views. One night we even enjoyed live music from the nearby yacht club. Six of us and a Lab had plenty of room to relax. The owner was terrific! We've already made plans to come back next year.
