Description of the Centerville vacation home rental

Very quiet, charming, and private 3 bedroom cottage located less than a 5 minute walk off sandy south shore Craigville Beach in Centerville, MA. Cottage is fully equipped with TV, internet, and full kitchen. Yard is largest yard within a mile, and big enough for many outdoor sports and has a large picnic table. Cottage gardens are bright and restful. Location is set back off main roads and is very quiet. Local beach has very shallow taper into water so it is very safe swimming; no drops and smooth sandy bottom. Great night life is 7 minutes away in Hyannis and Cape Cod Mall is just 10 minutes away. A good supermarket is 5 minutes away and traffic pattern is easy.

Area Information

Centerville is just 3 miles west of Hyannis, so the cottage has great access to main street and mall shopping in addition to near by swimming, biking, and fishing. Local harbor and island tour boats are less than 10 minutes away. Hyannis Port and Kennedy Compound is just a mile away.

The Cottage is located on a private way off the very south end of Old Craigville beach road

We rented this place this August . It is really close to beach and very quiet. you can go either direction of the cape since this place is just about in the middle yet easy to get on rte 6 and 28. the place is fully furnished. close to nice restaurants and shopping places..if you have family and friends, I would recommend this place

Well as you Cape Cod visitors know .The charming seaside village of Hyannis has it all. Great restaurants, harbor vistas, beautiful beaches and the home of our late President John F.Kennedy.

Perfect for two friends

Charming house fit the needs of friends needing 2 separate bedrooms. It would also be good for a couple with children who could share one bathroom. The location was convenient to lovely towns in either direction offering many options in shopping and dining. Easy walk to the beach where the water was incredibly warm in June--much warmer than those in Wellfleet, Eastham, etc. We loved having morning coffee on the cozy front porch. Water was absolutely drinkable from the tap and water pressure was incredible in the shower! We'd highly recommend this cottage!

Well stocked nice and clean house. Very near to the pond and beach, may be 5 minute walk. Will definitely come back next summer. Only 1hr drive to P-town. Thank you Tom and Sue ! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

Charming Cottage, Great Experience

We stayed at Tom's place the last week in August. The house is charming, sweet, on a small private road, nearby beach. The grounds are beautiful, with a nice yard and gardens. The house is clean, well-maintained, and well supplied. Tom is a gracious and accommodating host. We had an idyllic week that ended too quickly.

Quiet spring retreat

Such a pleasure to have visited this dear cottage in early spring, which on Cape Cod is known to be cool but refreshing. Little traffic in the area at this time, and the cottage itself is cozy, comfortable. Kitchen is nicely equipped, even to a microwave. Large TV has many offerings if one wishes. Walking in the area is a joy, very close to two ponds and up into a 19th century camp meeting village with many houses on the National Register of Historic Places. Summer brings magnificent gardens there, and they're beginning to show even in May. Garden at the cottage is starting to wake up as well. Easy walk to magnificent beaches, south-facing, where the sound is different every day. Bring a wind-breaker, always. An on-shore breeze comes with the territory. Local area abounds in museums, and a ride along Route 6A provides more early history than you'll be able to absorb! Choose! Many choices for eating out, or excellent markets for cooking "in." Mostly we enjoyed resting, reading at this quiet sanctuary, while daily walks revealed something new at all times. We returned home refreshed, and hope to return in 2012! Thanks! The Perfect Rental!

My family had such a great stay. We enjoyed walking to the beach every morning! The house was perfect and landscaping made it so relaxing. Our favorite spot was the front porch with the Tiki torches at night winding down from a great day at the beach. Tom and Sue are so helpful on what to do in the area. We enjoyed your cottage for the convenience of the beach and friends in Centerville. Pleasant walk to beach from your cottage passing the beauty of Elizabeth's Pond.
