Newly remodeled home offers over 4,000 square feet of indoor living area plus deck, patio, gazebo, and garage. This spacious retreat is just off State Rd 512, within walking distance of the Brazos River and perfect for a quiet get-a-way, family gatherings, or as comfortable base for enjoying outdoor activities in the area. The unique double A frame home is fully furnished and has two living areas, a large master suite with king size bed and convertible couch, second master suite in the upper loft with 2 Queen size beds, a private Queen size bedroom with bath off second living area downstairs, and a bunk room with 5 twin beds.

Area Information

Located in the Chama Valley, a beautiful mountain area of Northern New Mexico with abundant outdoor recreational opportunities. We are just minutes from the Sargent wildlife area, Humphries wildlife area, and the Rio Chama Wildlife & Fishing Area. The Carson National Forest in New Mexico and the Rio Grande National Forest in Colorado are a short drive. Abundant fishing opportunities include, in the Brazos and Chama Rivers, Heron and El Vado Lakes, numerous mountain streams nearby, and the World Famous Fly Fishing Destination on the San Juan River is a day trip. Remote but not too far, you will find Shopping and Golf opportunities within 90 miles in the nearby larger communities of Santa Fe or Taos, NM and Pagosa Springs, CO. The Village of Chama, NM is 15 minutes North, there you will find a new grocery store, some local color, and the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Rail Road. Hiking, Fishing, Wildlife Viewing, River rafting, Sailing, Horseback riding, Mountain biking, Train Riding, or just relax and enjoy the cool mountains of Northern New Mexcio.

Wonderful weekend at this beautifully furnished, spacious house in the pine hills of northern New Mexico. Great kitchen, deck, and outside furnishings, too. Deer in the front yard in the morning was a nice treat. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful skies and views.
