Historic District-Spacious Downtown Apt.

We offer a fabulous one bedroom PRIVATE apartment in the heart of Historic Charleston. The apartment is set behind a late 19th-century Victorian house ( listed in a local book)on a calm and quiet residential st., just 2.5 blocks away from the main shopping streets , local museums , and the visitor's center. The Apt. is equipped with a complete kitchen(full stove and full refrigerator)and fully stocked for the cooking you might do. Equipped also with central air/heat at your controls.. High ceilings and ceiling fans in each room as well as portable fans.
+++ The living room boasts of all heart-of-pine flooring and has a comfortable Pottery Barn sectional . The bedroom has a beauty rest designer Queen bed set in back for privacy and to make your stay feel off by itself. Next to the living room is the newly tiled bathroom with the Victorian claw-footed tub and wrap shower. Cable-on large flat screen. We now have 3internet connections as the house is so large. - +++++++++++++++++ Misquitoes a bother ? We have our grounds sprayed proffessionally and are environmentally friendly. We love the porches-front and back. Feel free to use them. . Parking is available but sometimes with a shared driveway or if staying longer, a sticker pass is given. Let me know ahead if you have 2 cars. A 2nd car warrents a $15. extra fee. We pay at the corner Church.This property has a cat and a dog on the premises but both are not allowed in the Apt. This is unhosted and we are only here if you need any assistance. We rarely see you. We have resided in this home for over 19 years. The ONLY way you can secure the apt. for the dates you are requesting, is to send a $45.. deposit. Paypal is acceptable. .We send out an email once the deposit has arrived to let you know it is secure. +We also offer an inside suite with a walk in tiled shower in case the claw-footed tub is not the best suited for you. The street that the apt. is on tour yearly with the Preservation Society. We are located 2 blocks from the famous Ashley Hall girl's school and 1 block from St. Luke and St. Paul's Cathedral. Great night life -2.5 blocks away--Coast--Basil---It goes on.MAP quest should show you right near King st. --Near the visitor's center. Everyone has loved the location. Bird;s eye view shows a very large front house. The apt. is in back and has a deck off of it. The bird's Eye also show a very old house next door. It has since been purchased by a wonderful family and they have made it a show place. Our kayaks and canoe take up some of the space of the yard but there is also a small eating area on the ground in back as well as a large table on the deck.NOTESeveral things to note. You should always do your homework and map quest every place you want to stay in. Realize we are 2.5 blocks from the main King st. and the visitor's center. If you want to be always on Broad st. or the Battery, you will have at least a 15 minute walk or take the trolley. Also the size of the apt. is about 550 sq. ft. and is not really the perfect size for a 3rd person. The back bedroom is large enough for a queen bed, and 2 end tables, and a chair for sitting. The living room is separated with a door. It has a sectional and a desk and a huge plasma TV . The deck is next to the apt. We are popular because we can offer a private apt. and one can come and go as you like. Also because of the noise factor--there is very little. And lastly I try to offer the best in a bed-one I would sleep in myself.
