Description of the Charleston vacation condo rental

OCEANFRONT in CHARLESTON, SC IS GORGEOUS YEAR-ROUND ! Isle of Palms is a beach suburb of Charleston only ten miles from the Historic District of Downtown Charleston. Take in the charm of this beautiful historic city, and stick your feet in the sand on one of the world's most beautiful beaches, all in the same stay. Come enjoy your vacation in our beachfront little get away in Charleston, South Carolina. Have spectacular views of ocean while dividing your time between our harbor city of history and beach relaxation. Beach/ocean views are shared by kitchen, living area and balcony.

Head downtown easily and directly to explore Charleston, learn more on a horse-drawn carriage ride, or tour Charleston Harbor and Fort Sumter by boat. South Carolina Aquarium, world class restaurants, the Charleston City Open Market and shopping galore, live theater, live music, museums, and so much more.

Then head back to ur cozy condo, ideally located in heart of the IOP. We are just few steps away from the beach, and 1-3 blocks walking distance for the island’s great shops, restaurants, pubs, and parks. Our complex claims the only pier on these islands and it’s private for our guests. The condo is located on 2nd floor (better views), on the very end (where the bedroom shares no wall). Also, no one below. Master BR has queen bed, and entry w/ built in bunk beds closes off to private 2nd BR - user friendly for kids, or 1 adult. Queen sleeper sofa in LR.

2 Beach chairs, mats, small cooler and beach toys are provided for our guests. Beach towels are available for a small linen fee. (We provide a lmited amount of start-up paper goods, soaps, etc.) We also provide free WIFI.

Just 1 1/2 blocks to Banana Cabana, Long Island Café, Huck's, Acme Cantina, Coconut Joes, and more restaurants/ pubs. The popular Wind Jammer beach bar features nightly entertainment. Buddy Roes Shrimp Shack in Mt. Pleasant has the best Lowcountry Shagging outside of the OD . Enjoy the complete Island life, go swimming, play volley ball, body surfing, watch children play in pool from your balcony, biking, the Inter-Coastal Waterway, surfing, sailing, windsurfing, shopping...

You are only ten miles from the Historic District of Downtown Charleston. 1 1/2 mile away, Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is an upscale shopping experience in classic southern style. With over 65 national and local tenants, including: Banana Republic, Gap, Bath & Body Works, Caché, Men's Wearhouse and Old Navy, as well as the regions only J.Jill, Coldwater Creek and Francesca's. Sample exquisite home-made candy at Sweet Julep's Candy & Gifts, or dine in style at Guy Harvey, Longhorn Steakhouse, Chili's, TGI Friday's, Atlanta Bread Company, - there is sure to be a culinary diversion to suit your palette. After dinner, stroll the lush, tree-lined streets or relax at the luxurious Palmetto Grande 16-screen theatre. Shem Creek’s famous shrimp boats and restaurants are 10 minutes away, and the Yorktown WWII destroyer and several historical plantations are all within easy driving distance.

Great ocean view

Susan's condo was a great spot for our family of 3 to use as a base for exploring the Charleston area. The condo is walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. We enjoyed watching the ocean from the patio and taking walks along the beach in the morning and cooling off in the ocean that is just a few steps from the condo. Her place is very small so I would not recommend it for more than 3 adults or family with 2 small children (bunks are very small.) The condo has basic kitchen ware and 2 beach chairs. My only complaint was there weren't any beach/pool towels so we had to go buy towels to use at the beach. The air conditioning worked well and everything was fairly clean.

Thank you Vicki. We had many guests take beach towels with them by accident when we kept them there the 1st year, but per your review have decided to make beach towels an option for guests. Also, we do keep a cooler and some beach toys at the condo.

Our famly had a great time at the condo! It is the perfect spot for a family. It's clean and comes with everything you need - including a hair dryer! Once you're there, you do not have to leave the area. The beach & pool, restaurants and shops are right out your door! Thanks for sharing your condo with us! We will definately be back!

What a wonderful vacation!! The impeccably clean and comfy condo was in the perfect location and has amazing views! The private pool and pier were added bonuses. Not only the perfect spot on IOP, but also easy to get to Sullivan's Island, Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. Susan, Thanks for sharing your lovely condo with renters. I had a wonderful 5-night stay and wish I could have stayed longer. Your condo is nicely decorated and well-furnished and supplied...lots of little details that many owners/rental agents don't think of. My family was in the cabin rental business in the Smokies, and we often rent homes instead of hotel rooms when we travel. I haven't seen many rentals as well supplied as yours (except ours, of course :)Your recommendations for restaurants and nightlife, with lots of brochures and town guides, were very helpful. The location was ideal, and the security personnel were helpful. I hope to come back soon.
