Our DUPLEX is furnished with lovely, high quality furnishings '' no futons here!! One queen, two twin, and one double bed. The home is bright, open and private! Just like home! House is located on a huge lot a very quiet street.

Everything is provided for you. Just bring your personal toiletries and your clothes and enjoy our beautiful city!

Area Description

Very desirable area in Charleston due to quaint village living and low traffic to best beaches, the Pennisula, airport and most surrounding areas. This historic neighborhood, dating back to the 1800's is draped with Spanish moss from the old oak trees lining the streets and yards. Parks in the village include the old Pitt Street Bridge, Alhambra Hall Park, and other green spaces throughout. There are neighborhood baseball fields and doggie parks speckling the Old Village. Churches, small historic cemeteries, and town-owned recreation buildings and facilities make the Old Village one of the most desirable addresses in Charleston.
Historic Pitt Street is a tiny shopping and dining area, home to the The Old Village Post House Restaurant, the Village Bakery and the Pitt Street Pharmacy.

Check Out: 11 a.m.
Required Stay: 3 day
Lodging Tax: 11%
Deposits: Deposit 50% of total to reserve dates and remaining balance within 14 days of stay.The deposit will be returned if a cancellation is made 60 days prior to the reservation. 50% will be refunded for a cancellation 30-59 days prior. 100% minus $50 handling fee will be refunded in any case, if the spot can be filled after cancellation
Other Fees: $75 cleaning fee

This was our first time using a rental and we were sooo happy! It is much better than a hotel. So much more comfortable and private. Michelle (the owner) was very gratious. The duplex was close to everything we wanted to do in Charleston. Great food and shopping nearby. Short drive to the beach or downtown. We will definately be staying here again! I can't say enough good things about this rental!

We enjoyed the house very much. It was great for our children, they really enjoyed the playarea in the backyard. Melissa even supplied a pack and play for our 18 month old. The location was wonderful, very close to everything. I would highly recommend it. Even the beds were comfortable, way better than staying in a hotel.

Key to this property is location. Minutes to every site we visited. Property had all the ammenties we needed, plus the price was just right for our visit. One item that could be added to the property such as the existing DVD player, would be a WIFI hookup for the use of a laptop computer. These are realatively low priced and in these days of communications, the WIFI would eliminate going to a Starbucks etc, to view emails etc. Again, location was the key, home had all needed items, plus the permit for our pets as well. We have told our family of it's availability. We hope to return. Please thank Melissa Black.
