Description of the Charleston vacation home rental

5 Minutes to Folly Beach and Historic Charleston

Stay Where the Locals Live. Free Wifi, Lots of Outside areas, lots of private and joint decked areas: Roof Deck, Jacuzzi Deck, Lounge Deck, Outdoor Tiki Stone Soup Kitchen decked area, plus private decks.

Studio, definition: "studio: a dwelling that has NO SEPARATE BEDROOM, but the bedroom is actually the livingroom. Beds are all in the livingroom, therefore this becomes the sleeping area. Upstairs. Two large private decks one open, one covered. , Kitchen Nook fully equipped: micro, refrig, blender, double sink, etc.Beds: one king, and two twin sofa-cots, optional: cot on covered deck, use of screened round bed gazebo (by appointment)Unit has washer/dryer. If you need it and we don't have it, ask and we will get it. Beach chairs, sheets, coolers, etc. avail.

No maid service provided unless specifically scheduled. No additional towel service. This is a vacation rental not a hotel or motel. We only have 5-15 people at a time. Relaxed home type, backyard, regular neighborhood living environment. Not a loud, party place for loud people. But you can stay up as late as you like on roof deck or in jacuzzi. A place for mature adults, children, and pets. Park your car in driveway like you would at home. Known as a safe, quiet neighborhood and expect same kind of guests. Don't bother the neighbors or try to get "chummy" with them: they are enjoying their privacy too.

Extra Item: Separate deck with Hot tub and outside shower. $5/person fee for term of stay. Family rate available.

Extra Item: Outdoor "tiki hut stone soup kitchen" $50 to $75 fee based on weekend or full week useage. Includes all paper products: cups, plates, foil, utensils, etc. Some condiments. Equipped with electric skillet, grill, refrig, double sink, snack area. You must still clean up after yourself, recycle, wipe down tops, counters, empty coffee grounds, etc. Your mother doesn't live here!! And if you brought her with you, She's on VACATION, remember?

Enjoy 1800 s.f. Roof Deck with screened gazebo w/round bed. Relax in outside lounge area with snack bar, sofa and chairs, eating areas.

Lots of sunshine, in quiet neighborhood. Close to historic, beach, gas station, ethnic restaurants, and 4 major food chains. Close to James Is. County Park, Aquarium, Harbor, Pier around 5 minutes by Auto.

Minutes by auto to Walmart, more grocery stores, banks historic area, I-MAX aquarium.

DOCK PARK at end of street where children can crab.

James Island County Park with Splash Zone and Lazy River 5 minutes away.

Quiet Family Style Location where children can play in fenced yard, or bike down street, or you can jog around the working class neighborhood. Only a few people here at a time, so you can relax.

Vacation Rental Policies

Required Stay: two night minimum
Lodging Tax: 12.5%
Deposits: Security Deposit on Duplex $175.00 Refundable when left clean, no brokenor missing items, recycle, change out bed linens, refrigerator, micro, dishwasher empty, vacumn, garbage out, counters wiped down, everything left as found or left "better" then when you arrived. If you don't want to clean up, let us know ahead of time. Security deposit on Studio $155, must leave as clean and orderly as found. If you don't want to clean up let us know ahead of time.
Other Fees: Jacuzzi Outdoor kitchen ($25 clean up fee)

I stayed in the Studio unit and absolutely loved it. The neighborhood is very peaceful and relaxing. Most of the day it was only me on the property. I especially enjoyed the cool water jacuzzi with the outdoor shower. I got a great tan on the roof deck too. I highly recommend this location.
