Great location

July 30, 2012

We rented this unit with our 5 year old son and small dog. The unit was very comfortable, had internet access and cable tv. We did use the pool and had it all to ourselves the day we used it. The townhouse development is landscaped well with lots of ponds. My son delighted in feeding the pond turtles his leftovers. The townhouse was close to downtown Charleston, Kiawah Beach park and Mt. Pleasant. We found some nice attractions in N. Charleston. Everything was 15-30 minutes away. The only real issue (if it can be called one) are the train tracks being in very close proximity to the property. Our son used the front room and he is a heavy sleeper so once we got him to bed and he was asleep, he did not wake. However, the first night the train was a surprise and came by at 2, 4 and 6 am and sounded like it came through the bedroom. I am a light sleeper, and it woke me each time, but my husband got used to it by the next night and had no problem. The owners are great to deal with and very accomodating. We would rent this again.

Great location, dog friendly, and close to Sullivans beach & close to Old Village. Condo needs a little updating but priced right. The wine & brownies were a very nice surprise!

Great location

July 5, 2011

Location is great. Near supermarkets and restaurants. 15 minutes from Charleston down town. The condo was comfortable. However I was a little disappointed that there was no internet connection (which on vacation you should be disconnected but I had some work to be done). Also the couch was cover with some dog hair that was not cleaned. Not so good for people with allergies. But overall it was a nice stay and we did not spend much time in the condo; so much to see and do!

Absentee landlord.

April 20, 2010

The following advertised items were missing: Beach chairs, alarm clock, CD player, grill and the DVD player was in a closet not hooked up. Washing machine not in working order, on rinse cycle it would not fill up. To put the iceing on the cake, Comcast rep came by looking for the landlord, when we told him we were just renting he cut the cable service off. Trying to reach the landlord on the weekend was impossible, she would not answer either of her two cell phones. When we arrived the beds were unmade, the washing machine was still filling on the rinse cycle until we shut it off. There was just enough towels for one day use and I had to wash them daily. No kitchen towels provided. The only good thing about this unit is the location, it is close to downtown Charleston.

This condo was exactly as described. It made you feel like you were on a tropical island. It was a very comfortable, relaxing place, and everything we needed was there. Andi, the owner, was extremely accommodating and helpful. Hope to be able to return some day!

Nice Spot, and Good Location

January 7, 2010

This was a nice spot to rent for our stay. It was close to Charleston and to our friends in the area as well. We really should have been told about the trains that go through all night long, some long, some short, some freight, some passenger, and not 100 feet from the townhouse. It rattled when the larger trains came through. Knowing that fact, decide for yourselves if this is the right spot for you. The price was reasonable for the accommodations that you receive, and certainly well less than the Historic District in Charleston!!

Great price and location....very clean. Would recommend to anyone....only drawback was the train goes through every night, right in back yard, but wouldn't stop me from going back.

Nice townhouse in North Charleston

October 12, 2009

This is a very nice, cozy house in N. Charleston. The owner was very responsive, quick to handle the transaction and everything worked perfectly. The house is very well-furnished, with everything that we could need or want. It was a great stay.

A week in Charleston..

April 19, 2009

This was a last minute rental...a week opened up at a moment's notice, I contacted the owner, and she got right back to me! Great little spot...the townhouse was in a nice neighborhood, quiet neighbors, and relatively close to everything. Very nicely decorated, really comfy beds, and everything you needed right at your fingertips. We had a great visit, and hope to be able to stay here again next time we are in Charleston.
