Description of the Charlottesville vacation home rental
Dunlodge is a beautiful, fully-furnished house located in the Charlottesville, Virginia area, directly adjacent to the University of Virginia.
This estate is still unbelievably below any rental property fees within the UVA vicinity. If Dunlodge is desired any date beyond the two calendar months, the price is then within our Premium Schedule which is $370 per night with a three-night minimum for weekends and $190 per night for weekdays with a three-night minimum. Within the two calendar months, the price is $185 for weekend nights with a two-night minimum and $95 per night for weekday nights, no minimum.
The football stadium and John Paul Jones Arena are both within walking distance and Dunlodge is convenient to the area’s wineries, breweries and many historical sites. Located on a secluded 5-acre wooded property, the house is a unique showplace of log siding, sloped roofs, step down rooms, rose bud flooring, indoor fireplaces, wood beam ceilings, a large sunroom and a formal dining room. Dunlodge is completely modernized with full kitchen appliances, central heating and air conditioning, 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. Outdoors the landscaped gardens feature a large outdoor slate patio with a rock fireplace, a horse barn and a trail tying into the UVA Observatory Hill trail system and to the Rivanna Greenbelt Trail that circles the entire city of Charlottesville.
Since this property is members-only, a mandatory $35 membership fee is assessed at time of rental (Premium Rental Rates automatically offer the renter membership in PATC free of charge.) Benefits for membership in PATC can be found at the POTOMAC APPALACHIAN TRAIL CLUB, INC. online site.

Guys weekend
November 16, 2011
We stayed at this amazing house for a guys weekend in November. The house had tons Of space including a sunroom, 4 bedrooms, patio and outdoor fire place. It's a 10 minute walk goths football stadium and a 30 minute walk to The Corner, which has tons of restaurants and bars. If you want to be within walking distance of UVA but without the Pain of neighbors, this is the place for you

Last summer, 2011, Ian Leake, from Troop 765 in Charlottesville planned the production and implemented a 30' x 24' slate patio at Dunlodge. Ian did a tremendous job, as well as his crew of fellow scouts and PATC members. This project is Ian's Eagle Scout Project 2011. We at PATC thank all who worked with him on this beautiful patio that will enhance the renter's experience at Dunlodge.
