Description of the Chatham vacation cottage rental

Cute cottage! Two bedroom (queen bed, two twins) one bath. A large screened-in porch looks out across a piney field - across field is large White Pond - great for swimming. This classic cottage "colony" was built in the 1920s and represents Old Cape Cod at it's best (5.5 acres with 18 cottages). Family oriented, peaceful, great place for kids to run around and explore while parents enjoy conversation and beverage of choice. New appliances and beds. Fully equipped kitchen. The large screened-in porch serves as quintessential summer living room. Cable television and comfy seating.




Nantucket Sound (Hardings Beach) is nearby, downtown Chatham with Friday band concerts just up the road. A short stroll to local fish market that specializes in amazing dine-in or take out meals. Bring your bikes and explore the Cape Cod Rail Trail less than a 1/4 mile away. The bike trails run from Dennis to Provincetown. The location is a little piece of Old Cape Cod heaven!


Rates: May - June 10, $600/mo (1 month minimum rental off season)
June 10 - Labor Day, $650/week *
Labor Day - Nov 1, $600/mo (+ util)

If you want to get away from a busy, stressful life, take a short vacation in Chatham, MA in this cottage at Cottage on White Pond. A small, quiet, clean house with all you need to prepare a good and fast dinner and to enjoy a glass of wine. I would recommended the cottage to my dearest friends.  more...

My husband and I were fortunate to find this sweet cottage in Chatham. The owner's description is precise and the location of this quaint cottage colony is central to all that Chatham has to offer. Great beaches, shops, and dining up the street. Enjoyed biking to Lighthouse Beach and later took the "Rail Trail" all the way over to Brewster. If low key and charming are what you want, this place is PERFECT! Enjoy your stay-we most certainly did!  more...
