Enjoy our enclosed porch overlooking the salt marsh and a short (4/10 mile) walk to Cockle Cove Beach, one of Chatham's popular family beaches on Nantucket Sound. The house is a comfortable 2 bedroom, one bathroom home with an additional outdoor hot/cold shower and sleeps 4-6. From fireplace to dishwasher, the house combines the romance of your favorite inn and the comforts of home.

$1050.00 per week except as indicated. June and after September 15, weeks are offered at a range of between @$650 per week and @$800 per week (this latter rate is the the last week of June before the beginning of the "high season").

Area Information

The "Ides of Marsh" home sits on a private one-way circle located off Cockle Cove Road within 1/2 mile of Cockle Cove Beach. The cottage is shielded from its neighboring houses by the salt marsh, and a wooded hill, which surrounds the house on two sides. Cockle Cove Road is an easy-to-find main road running off Route 28 in South Chatham, several hundred feet from the "Old Schoolhouse" ice cream parlor.

Deposits: 1/2 rent to hold reservation; balance payable at least one week prior to stay. Upon receipt of whole rent, key will be sent, or arrangements will be made for pick-up location/delivery of key. Tenants must sign customary one page seasonal lease. Tenants supply towels and linens. Tenants required to leave home at least as clean as at beginning of stay. Cleaners will be recommended to those tenants who wish to retain that service.
Payment Options: Cashier's Check, Personal Check
Other Fees: cleaning deposit of $75 payable (in addition to rent) prior to delivery of key, refundable if house is left in clean condition

Lovely quiet cottage overlooking a beautiful salt marsh on a dead end road. Comfortable beds, big screened in porch. Great location near Chatham center. Nice clean beach at end of the road. Would definitely stay here again

Spent a week in Chatham. Quiet, relaxing, near beach. The house was perfect. With lots of cable channels and WiFi there was lots to do after dark. Very close to the Rail Trail and village shopping, which is some of the finest on the Cape. I may go back next year for 2 weeks!

We thorougly enjoyed this home. We have been renting in the area for 8+ years and this is by far one of the best cottages we have rented. The sunroom is such a relaxing place to enjoy the marsh and environment. The bedrooms are very comfortable with ample storage space. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, dishes and pots and pans. The kitchen also has a dishwasher, washer and dryer. There is a very nice and spacious yard, with bunnies that come to visit daily. This home was very easy to maintain and would definitely rent again.
