The watercolors of Cape-inspired themes by a local artist in this quiet hilltop home provide an ideal backdrop for relaxing with your current read or recounting the day’s experiences with friends on the sun-dappled deck. Appointed with comfortable accommodations, including wireless Internet access, this two-bedroom, two bath home, with additional sleeping quarters in the finished basement, is perfect for those seeking a break from their daily routine. Public tennis courts and the bike trail, both located near the bottom of the hill, provide opportunities for adventure and exercise.
Local beaches, including Lighthouse and Hardings Beach, are short car rides or moderate bike rides from the house. Nearby ponds, especially White, School House and Goose Ponds, offer fishing opportunities and warmer waters for swimming.
There is a window air-conditioning unit in the master bedroom but usually the prevailing breezes allow you to enjoy the wonderful Chatham air.

Area Information

Chatham offers many natural delights and this home is minutes away from wonderful outdoor activities. On the highest hill in the area, one can bike or drive to the town center and Lighthouse Beach on the Atlantic Ocean or to Hardings Beach on Nantucket Sound or to Pleasant Bay within 5 to 10 minutes. The Cape Cod Bike Trail is one block away.

Wonderful Respite

Enjoyed two wonderful weeks here. Close to all that Chatham offers but removed enough to wind down and relax...very quiet. The house has lovely art and an eclectic library. The kitchen (very well equipped) & open dining area are inviting ... a welcome gathering spot after a day at the beach. Am planning another visit. Just wish it were closer to DC ! Enjoy your stay !

We had such a great week in Chatham in the charming blue house we stayed in. Very private, spacious, airy and comfortable. We were close to town and beaches, and loved every minute of it. Would love to come back.

We had a great week at the blue house and would highly recommend it. The location is quiet and peaceful, but close enough to all the fun of Chatham and the Cape. Liked the collection of books. I wished we would have had some rainy days to sit and read.
