Cozy Stay

We were a group of 10 people; stayed for 2 nights in the mid of October in this spacious Chatham vacation house. All the rooms were lovely, comfortable and clean. The house had a fireplace besides its easy controlled heating system which kept us warm (the weekend we arrived was at low 40 F). It was only several minutes away from downtown Chatham and the light house. We didn’t use the bikes but some of us played ping-pong in the garage during one of the mornings. The kitchen was equipped with everything, and we prepared and enjoyed our meal for one night in the house. One of the bathrooms did have a nice big Jacuzzi, but we were too busy playing so no one had a chance to try it. The table in the dining room is perfect for card games; there were tons of games in the boxes in the closets. Whoever didn’t want to play or take a shower at the moment, he/she could watch the DVD or use the free Wi-Fi for checking emails. The back yard was huge; we bet it’s nice having a BBQ during summer. In sum, we had a very satisfied stay. And last but not the least, thanks Mr. Lehman-- was very nice and responsive. Cheers, Ms. Wu

Charming Chatham

We had spent quite a few days travelling around New England and stayed at a variety of locations. For our last four nights we decided to rent a house rather than stay in more hotels and B&B. We found this house on the web and contacted the owner to see if it was available at short notice, we travelled to the house from Vermont and Jeff met us there to show us around. It was a lovely house, in a beautifully quiet location with a private wooded area to the rear which was a great place to get some lovely photos of the trees. The house is lovely - very clean and comfortable, plenty of space and everything you need to cater for yourselves - including a gas fired BBQ in the garden. A jacuzzi bath in the master en suite and walk in shower makes the master a lovely relaxing area and all the bedrooms are very good size. The walk to the local School Pond with clean water and a sandy shore/beach area was only about 10 mins and very easy to find, There are plenty of bikes (and hats) for all ages and we enjoyed a couple of rides on the nearby Cape Cod Trail which was a pretty level and peaceful route suitable for all ages. If you are looking for a lovely family home, well equipped, clean and comfortable, with plenty of things to do locally then this house makes a great choice.

Great place for a family vacation

House was welcoming, warm, clean with a nice open floor plan,and had everything we needed for our family holiday get together. The location was also very good. It was in a quiet, attractive neighborhood which was a close drive to the grocery store, other shops, and to downtown Chatham. We enjoyed are stay and are considering visiting again in the warmer months. However, our holiday visit in December was very nice, especially with the gas fireplace and the holiday lights adorning the front entrance. We also made use of the ping pong table in the garage, the DVD library, and the various games and reading materials there. Very nice visit.
