Description of the Chautauqua Lake vacation home rental
Fully supplied furnished kitchen.Proper Baby Crib,High Chair, pac n play.Linens sheets, blankets , beds pillows,dish towels,hand towels, and bath towels Provided. You need to bring your own beach towels.Cable and TV's in all bedrooms .Outside Patio and Lawn Furniture. Enclosed Sun porch. Dining nook. Small brook for children to explore for crayfish,and Creek minows. Will rent for the weekends per 2 day stay required during off season. deposit required.Smoking NOT allowed in the house.Parking FOR 3 cars.Need to discuss the dog breed if you bring one.dobermin,pitt bull,boxer,mix ect not allowed do to insurance will not cover this type of dog.We accept Labs. Must e mail picture of Dog.Cottage has a small supply of toilet paper, coffee, paper towels ,dish and hand soaps, for the beginning of your stay so that you don't have to worry about these things after traveling all day.

The cottage was very welcoming and cozy. Everything was great and we really enjoyed our stay. It was great that dogs are able to stay at the location as well. The only downfall is having to cross the street each time you want to access the water. Overall it was a great time fishing and fun.

I had a wonderful time at the cottage! What peaceful and relaxing home to get away and unwind. Barb and Dan were great hosts and provided a spotlessly clean house when I arrived. The views of the snow covered lake were beautiful! I can't wait to come back in the summer of 2014!

Fantastic cottage on the lake

Headed to chatauqua for the annual muskie tournament that i fish in yearly. Our Dog Boone was recently diagnosed with addisons so it was prudent that we find accommodations that would allow for him to come along. Boone did great, my wife Sandra and I won the tournament with some big heavy muskies and all in all a marvelous 5 days away at the lake. Cant wait to go back next year

Perfect week away

We had a wonderful stay at the Green Cottage this year. The cottage was as clean as can be, and Barb went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed to make the stay nice for Ruth our new daughter (6 months old during our stay). We got good use out of the high chair, exersaucer, and the pack n play. Winnie, our pup, was also welcomed and enjoyed looking out the big front window everyday....she was guarding the house from the squirrels and chipmunks. For all of these reasons, this is the perfect place for our family to enjoy a week at Chautauqua.

Very Relaxing!

My family and I LOVE going to Chautauqua for a week in the summer each year, and this cottage is the perfect place to stay! It has a cozy, quiet feel and is tucked in next to a creek and woods. Linens are provided, and the cottage has enough toilet paper, coffee, and soap for the beginning of your stay so that you don't have to worry about these things after traveling all day. It's a couple hundred feet from the lake, and there is a dock to use. Grilling out and sitting at the campfire at night are perfect ways to relax, as is going into Bemus Point to eat out or look in all of the shops. The attic has a few beds and a couch and it's own TV, too, and there are 2 bedrooms plus a family room with a sleeper couch downstairs. It's a lovely place for a relaxing getaway!

We stayed at the Green Acres Cottage 6 nights and found the property to be very clean and spacious, exactly how it is in the pictures. Barb and Dan were very gracious hosts and we really appreciated their recommendations and knowledge of the area. Our dog Smokey had the best time exploring the grounds and lake and running around with Sugar. We also enjoyed the use of the boat dock and got some amazing sunset photos. Awesome Cottage and Hosts!

We stayed 5 nights at Green Acres cottage in Aug. 2011. The cottage was very clean and spacious! Dan was very hospitable and accessible to us. We were so grateful for the use of dock, canoe and seating by the lake just for us. We fishes, golfed, rode bikes, had fires in the stocked firepit and totally relaxed. Just like a home away from home, but better!! We look forward to returning again to this beautiful place! Thanks Dan and Barb

The house was perfect, exactly how it was pictured/presented. There was more than enough room for our family, two adults and three adult children. Our dog, Chloe, also enjoyed herself. The hosts, Barb and Dan, were more than accomodating; they were welcoming. A storm was in the forecast, and they put a bouy by the dock just for my husband's fishing boat; it was "just in case." They watched the weather and made recommendations that made our week more fun and relaxing and made sure the accommodations at the house were more than comfortable. If we needed anything or had any questions, they always found an answer for us. It was a wonderful fishing trip for us.

The cottage was amazing. Upon arrival, barb was the perfect hostess explaining all regarding the car and use of the cottage amenities and even provided a filter for the well water. There was enough room for two adults and 3 grown teenagers! The yard was expansive, providing room for frisbee, catch, and more. Barb and dan welcomed our family pet, Chloe. She enjoyed her stay as well. The furniture was comfortable and the sun porch was very useful and comfortable during the rain. They had the dock ready for our bass boat and even had a buoy tie up ready for us because the weather forecast called for storms. the girls enjoyed bike rides into bemus for supplies. John found all he needed for dishing at te bait shop just across the bridge. When the gas grill acted up at dinner, dan was on the case to make sure it worked for us to feed those growing kids. They suggested all sorts of ideas to make our stay more comfortable. We couldn't have asked for anything else.

Wonderful week at "the lake"!!

We had the most wonderful week at the Green Acres Cottage in Bemus Point! The cottage is darling -- clean, cozy and fully stocked; we didn't want for a thing. The proximity to the town of Bemus Point, as well as, the bridge that takes you to the other side of the lake is perfect and allows for easy access to multiple Chautauqua attractions. Above all, the owners were exceptionally gracious hosts. In addition to being very friendly and welcoming, they provided us with with a wealth of information regarding a wide assortment of outings and entertainment in the area. We'd recommend a week (or more!) to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing "stay at the lake"!

Fall Family Fun!!

We loved being back in our hometown area for 10 days and our stay at "Green Acres" was outstanding. As we live in Florida now I was concerned about being back in "Cold Country". It did snow while we were there but we stayed nice and cozy in the cottage. We were toasty warm the whole time! The kitchen was the best supplied of any of the cottages where we have stayed over the years. The view out the front window of the cottage was a treat every morning as we viewed the gorgeous autumn leaves. Can't wait to come back!!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage in Bemus. I was so impressed on how wonderfully clean and neat everything was. The view of the lake is beautiful and the back yard area is serene. We will definitely stay again because it's so much nicer to stay there than at a hotel or with family.

We had a wonderful time on vacation - our hosts Dan and Barb made our stay so enjoyable. The house is excellantly equiped to make our stay feel as if we never left home and yet the quietness of the property was relaxing. Walking the property gave us a time with nature that we miss when living in the city. The waterfront accessability was great as we enjoyed fishing, boating, swimming and relaxing at the shore to enjoy the beautiful view.

Very clean and comfortable cottage located very close to the shops in Bemus and only a stroll to the lake! The creek is fun for children to play in. Houses are spaced apart nicely, so you don't have to worry about "hearing the neighbors" Dan and Barb are wonderful owners to deal with.
