Fabulous house and stay

This is a great house in a great location. The house was immaculate when we arrived, beautifully furnished and equipped. And the owners even thought about the little things that can make your stay enjoyable-like a blender and night lights! The lake is about 400 feet from the front deck and the private dock has spectacular views of Mt. Kipp and the sunsets. Can't wait to book our next stay here.

Nice house and beautiful view

We did enjoy our staying this house that made us a wonderful trip. I would say everything in the house is clean and the view is beautiful. Not far from the town that make you easy to get groceries and food. A very heart warming house made our excited days on Loon Lake vacations.

Great property and the most enjoyable vacation

We enjoyed staying in this house. Very well maintained, clean, tastefully decorated in the Adirondack style, and spacious. Has everything one might need including even bath and kitchen towels. The owners are very thoughtful and a pleasure to deal with. The house is located on a most beautiful road, by the lake, and very close to grocery shopping in Chestertown. Pine trees are everywhere, and the air is so fragrant! There is so much to do in the Adirondacks, and most attractions are within a 30 to 45-min-drive! Highly recommended.

Loon Lake Lodge

We had a lovely time and enjoyed our morning canoe rides. It was so peaceful and private and everything we needed was right in the beautifully decorated house. Our weather was perfect and we were able to enjoy time together with all of our children. We enjoyed hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, canoeing and rode the gondola up Gore Mountain. We took a drive up to Newcomb and hiked at the Adirondack Park VIC. We also enjoyed the Natural Stone Bridge & Caves in Pottersville. The kids enjoyed swimming out to the float and there was such a beautiful view of the mountains and lake from our private beach area. Thank you again for a truly memorable vacation.

A nice place to rest

A very nice summer house, clean and quiet surrounded by a little forest and close to the lake. We spent a wonderfull week. It would have been nice to have a canoe available. .

Everybody has their favorite water toy. Canoeing, water skiing, fishing from a rowboat are all pastimes our guests have enjoyed while staying at the house. We provide a lovely, private dock so you can bring your own boat or rent whatever you desire at the nearby marina. We have found this keeps everyone happy and makes sure your equipment is well maintained for your family's safety while boating on this beautiful lake.

Beautiful, warm, and clean home! Perfect and romantic getaway for two. Loved the fireplace! The outside firepit was great. We roasted marshmallows and gazed at the stars. Quiet and peaceful surroundings. The dock was excellent and easy for us to get in and out of our boat. We fished every single day. Great local restaurants, OP Fredericks is awesome and Lake George and Bolton Landing are nearby. The dishwasher was an added plus! Everything was perfect!

A great family week together

The house was perfect for our family time together with our 4 adult sons. It was very clean, spacious and suitable for our needs. The proximity to the lake was great for swimming, fishing and boating. It was quiet, secluded yet convenient to shopping and restaurants. Would love to stay again in the future.

Our Vacation

We loved our vacation at Loon Lake. The house was perfect for my family, so nice and clean...we felt right at home. The dock was a quick walk for our small children and we spent so many hours there. This is a great location for a family retreat. The only downfall is that in the summer you really cannot see the lake from the house...not that I would want to cut down the trees. We even got to see the pair of loons that live there, and we heard them every morning. Thanks so much.

Had a great time at this remote cabin on Loon lake. House was perfect and made us feel right at home. Cozy, roomy, and quiet. 10 minute drive to the store which was convenient when perfect location to explore the whole Adirondacks... Only thing I would chnage was to have a internet in the vicinity...

Just a note of thanks for the vacation rental this year. The place was great! The decorations were adorable! The girls really enjoyed going down to the lake and swimming between the docks. The lake was warm and beautiful, with limited activity! We took the paddle boat out a few times too!
